Excited to share my layout today for the Lasting Memories Challenge "Digging for Metal". For this challenge we are to use some kind of metal like tags, staples or brads. I did this layout a few weeks ago using Quick quotes paper, lace, twine, tags, and gold vintage buttons. I also used a punch for the corners on the mat and some stickers. This is one of those layouts that the I really didn't have to do much to the layout as the paper is so awesome so it was fairly quick to do.
These are pictures of my granddaughter and the first ultrasound pic of her new baby brother or sister. While they were taking her picture she actually kissed the picture. At this time we didn't know whether it was a boy or a girl so I added stickers saying brother or sister. We have two daughters who have blessed us with three granddaughters in the last 2 years.
Well as of yesterday we now know we are going to have a grandson this time. Kenzie will have a little brother in October. We are all so excited!!!!!

Here is the sketch for this week if you would like to use it. I hope you will join us for the challenge this week and add some metal to your layout. The DT members always love to see what you create.
One lucky person will win a $10 gift card from Michaels this week provided by myself in honor of
my great news. Hope you will join us.
