I was actually caught up with my layouts of granddaughters this week.  But now I have a new huge stack to start scrapping.  So more layouts to come....
The paper I used is  Union Square by Paper Recollections from Michaels.
The flowers are also Recollections
The key and  key hole are from Tim Holtz
The chandelier is a Cricut cut from the Sophisticated cartridge.
The heart paper ribbon, lace, and other embellishments were from my stash.

This is the completed two page layout.
Then I did another one just a little different for my daughter.
Hope you enjoyed my layout. I would love to read your comments.  Happy craftin!

Lasting Memories #62 "Cherish" someone or something you love

It's time for another Lasting Memories layout challenge.  I am so enjoying being a Guest Designer with this team of creative ladies.   This week we were asked to use the word Cherish and given a great multi photo sketch for our starting off point.
For those of you that don't know I have been blessed with three precious granddaughters in 18 months so that keeps my photo pile quite large.  I always do double layouts of everything.  One for me and one for my daughters.  When we are all together I make three layouts.
I got the title Cherish little things in my head and knew I wanted to start with the foot pic of my littlest granddaughter Brittany.  When I did a cut search I actually found Cherish and The little things in life on the new Sophisticated Cricut cartridge.  So I was all set and didn't need to weld letters together.
For both layouts I used  baby  paper from a box  someone gave me.  The fist was done in pinks and green  and I used lace, ribbon and pearl flower embellishments.

The second one I did in yellow and greens and used flowers.
By the way the picture on the right is my oldest granddaughter Katie checking out
her new sister with daddy.
Here is the great multi photo sketch you can use as a starting off point.
I hope you will join us this week.  We would love to see your layouts of what you cherish.  You have until Saturday November 4th to enter.  Come on and take the challenge!

Two birthday cards and a Halloween shaker card

I promised to make birthday cards for a group I belong to this year so I decided to make birthday cards I for several challenges.  Both are  5 x 7 cards.
I am entering the first one  in the Frosted Designs sketch challenge and the
Celebrate the Occasion challenge which was to use red, white and black
The cuts are from  Sophisticated page 65 and page 62.
I then took the extra red piece to use for my inside.
This birthday card is for the Die Cuttin Divas challenge which was to use any kind of dessert and the Cooking with Cricut challenge to use cake, cupcake, or teddybear. I used the cake from Just a Note and a Martha Stewart punch.
The Halloween I made for the My Craft Spot challenge which was to use black, orange, purple and green. By using my Gypsy I selected a card from Sentimentals and cut it at 5 inches  and  cut a 2.25 circle from the center front using a circle from George.  The plastic cup is a Wilton oreo cookie candy mold which I got on sale at Joanns.  You get 8 cups per tray.  I taped the cup into the front.  I then cut a liner at 4.75 inches and covered the cup.  My cup is filled with Halloween confetti but you could also use candy.  I added ribbon and a stamp sentiment.  I also glued some of the confetti on the sentiment piece.
