Pages I completed with my PPbN swaps- Tangled and Frozen layouts

Since joining PPbN I have participated in some cut swaps to make some adorable Disney layouts for my grandkids Disney pictures.  Sad to say these are no longer available through PPbN as Disney as asked her to stop making some of her characters.  Luckily I have these already for my personal layouts. I just love PPbN files.  Nikki has the
cutest cuts around and a great monthly club.

Here is the layout I completed with cuts from the Tangled Swap.  Disney pictures of course.
Here Micah and Kenzie are trying to pull out the sword in the stone.

Frozen Cut Swap layout- pics of my granddaughter Kenzie who thinks she is Elsa
77 it sure helps she has the same color hair.)
More Frozen

Now she is in her Anna finery and Micah is holding his Olaf.

More of Queen Elsa and loving on her dolls.
I bet you can't guess what she is watching with Olaf?  You guessed it Olaf.

Last of the Halloween layouts

I have had these Halloween pages done for awhile it just took me awhile to catch up on taking pictures of the pages and editing.
are repeated but the pages are different.
The adorable owl files are from Nikki at PPbN designs .  Aren't they so so cute?
The banner and letters on the first two pages are from Silhouette America.

This page is Katie, Kenzie and Brittany.  I used Doodlebug scraps for the banner.
Here are Katie and Brittany in their owl costumes.  "Owl"fully cute aren't they ?

The title on these is from Silhouette.  The pictures are Kenzie, Micah and mom
in their 'Frozen' costumes.
Here I am with Kenzie and Micah making our Frozen pumpkin.
Kenzie loved it.
Micah is showing off his Mr. Potato Head pumpkin too.

Let's Scrap Sketches Challenge entry- Daddy's Girl

I decided to enter the sketch challenge at Let's Scrap Sketches  this week.   This  is the sketch for the challenge which I though was pretty interesting.  I love to create with sketches and get my ideas flowing.   I decided to scrap a picture of my youngest granddaughter Brittany and her daddy because I just love this pic.    I used a 6 x 6 paper pad called Notable by Minds Eye that I got at Michael's on clearance.  I used punches for the shape and the banner.  The title is cut from a Silhouette File and then I offset it twice- once in a pattern paper and once in solid orange.  The pieces are all inked with Quick Quotes Powder Puff ink in Coral and Caribbean Blue.
So here is my take on the sketch for my layout.  s

The design is really not crooked as I used a ruler.  It's my picture taking skills.
So I am off for now to link this to the challenge at Let's Scrap Sketches.

I started a Facebook site for my crafting and 5 quick layouts

So many people spend time on Facebook now and don't always have time to search crafting blogs so I decided to start a Facebook page to post my projects.  I will still be posting on my blog but would also love for you to follow me on Facebook at the site linked here.
I am just getting started but will be posting on a regular basis.
Here are a couple of quick layouts I have left to post from a crop awhile back

The titles for these pages came from Silhouette

This was some paper I found in my stash of stuff.
The title and monkey for this came from Silhouette
More Silhouette Titles for these two double pages of some of my family moving.

Lasting Memories challenge Anything Goes with "Life's Moments"

Our challenge theme at Lasting Memories this entire month is "Life's Moments".  For this the final week it is "Anything Goes" with the Life Moments Theme.
For my layout I used Graphic 45 Twas the Night before Christmas paper.
I love Graphic 45 paper and always have to buy some to use and then I hoard some too.
Ii inked all the edges with Quick Quotes Powder Puff Ink.
The twine for the banner and to tie the tag was from Hobby Lobby.
The doilies I got after Christmas from Michael's Recollection.
The brads, pinecone, pointsettias, leaves, heart clip and Santa key
embellishments were from my stash.
I fussy cut the frame edge and the large Santa circle.
The holly and clock and stamps are also fussy cut.

The pictures are of grandkids Kenzie and Micah at the local nursery with Grammy and Papa.
They always have the most amazing decorations at Christmas and when I saw this gorgeous Santa and sleigh with a deer I had to get pictures.
Of course being typical Californians he is wearing long sleeves and pants and she is in a Summer dress but that is how we roll here.
Here is a close up of the banners and flowers.

Hope this inspires you to join us for the challenges this month.

Disney layouts

My oldest daughter and her family go to Disney a lot.  I think 20 plus times last year.  I was lucky enough to go with them 4 days.  This year my family got me an annual pass so that I can go more.  Believe me it won't be 20 plus times though.  Here are some pages I did of a trip that I did go on last year.  So one page is for me and one for my daughter.

The title Got Magic is from Silhouette and the cute little characters are all from PPbN designs.  These are more quick and easy pages I did at a crop as I already had all the figures and titles cut out.

Silly boy and Best Day Ever layouts

I get so busy with designing for the store where I teach, making kits and caring for grandkids that I often fall behind with my own layouts.  Plus the fact that I make layouts for both of my daughters so each layout is either made twice or sometimes even 3 times when the cousins are together.
Here are two layouts I completed recently at a crop.
Both titles came from Silhouette America and the cute little Mickey came from PPbN designs.
These cute pics are my grandson Micah.  My daughter Danielle makes all his hats.  He is 2 now.
This was a recent trip to Disney for Kenzie, Micah and parents.
My daughter is wearing the Malificent ears.

These were both quick and easy to do and I could get a lot of pics on a page.

Lasting Memories challenge "Life's Lesson"

Our challenge theme at Lasting Memories this entire month is "Life's Moments".  For this week the theme is "Life's Lesson".  Of course I immediately thought of all the little and big lessons my grandkids learn each and every day.  It is such a blessing to be able to care for two of them daily and take part in this growning and learning process.
When I was looking through my files I loved these pictures of my 4 year old granddaughter Kenzie working on a puzzle.  She has graduated to puzzles with more pieces and was really working hard on this one.  I just love that 'proud" look on her face as she shows off the completed puzzle.  Lesson learned to stick to it even when it is hard.
The title It always seems Impossible is from the Silhouette Store #43068.
The puzzle pieces are also from there #3282.
The flowers and paper are from my stash.

This is the companion page of Kenzie and her brother putting together Tinker Toys.
In the first picture she is "reading"  the directions and then creating.
On the bottom two pictures Micah looks like he is saying piece of cake with his arm shrug and the last one he is checking out the large tin.
The You and Me #9389 and the arrow #5896 are also from the Silhouette store.

I hope you enjoyed my layouts and will check out the other
design layouts at Lasting Memories this week.

The top one is I Scream You Scream

Julie Nutting doll class tags at Busy Bees Studio

I will be teaching this  class January 24th at Busy Bee Studio in Newbury Park, California.  The cost is only $20 and these will be available after the class in kits.  These are the tags for January, February and March.  I just think these Prima Julie Nutting stamps are so fun to play with and a great way to use scraps.  So many cute ones coming out soon from Prima.
For the January one I used chalboard paper and white ink and lots of Stickles on the dress.
The February one I added wings and the third some Prima embellishments and flower stickers.

Lasting Memories 224 Cookies for Santa

Our challenge theme at Lasting Memories this entire month is "Life's Moments".  For this week the theme is "Captured Moments".
For my layout I chose these photos of grandkids making "Cookies for Santa."
There is nothing better than captured moments of sweet little ones.
Last year we got these cute little Elf on a Shelf apron and
chef hat outfits after Christmas on clearance.
They looked so cute wearing them and were so excited.
7
The first page is my granddaughters Katie and Brittany
and the second page is granddaughter Kenzie and grandson Micah.
The cookies for Santa title came from Silhouette America #71332 and is pop dotted.
The Christmas cookies are also from SA #70507 and 70506.
I inked the edges and pop dotted some of them to make them stand out.
I added some peppermint candy embellishments and
Christmas tree paper clips I had in my stash.
For this page I also used a chipboard frame.  The plate Kenzie and Micah are holding I created with
with a red charger from Michaels, white vinyl, and another file from Silhouette America.  In the
framed picture you can see their little milk jar that goes with it.
I hope you will get your crafty on and join us this week for the "Captured Moments" challenge.  Remember you still have time to do the first challenge "Simple Pleasures".
Check out both challenges at Lasting Memories.
Thank you for joining us this week and stay tuned for the next challenge to start next Sunday.  But remember... you have ALL month to link up to each weekly challenge.
