BBTB2 Water Challenge- Gone Fishin'

This week the challenge at BBTB2 comes from DT member Sandi and is a Water theme.  I knew right away I had some really cute pics of my granddaughter Katie fishing with her dad.  They have a little lake near them that we go to feed the ducks.  Last month we went and had a picnic and watched her and daddy fish although the only thing they caught was moss.
I used Camping Critters for the cute little fishing moose( 5"), the Gone Fishin sign(3") and the lake(4").
The fish on the pole is from Celebrate with Flourish (4")
The fence post are from Pooh and Friends (2 1/2 ").

Paper is from the My Guy DCWV stack, Kraft paper and various cardstock.
Used wood finish and divine swirls Cuttlebug embossing folders.
I hope you will join us for the "Water theme" challenge.  You have two weeks to link up
up your project at BBTB2 and show us what you create.
Thanks for stoppin by and happy craftin!

10-Sweet Sassy Diva Design Team Post- Hens and Chicks

Happy Easter everyone!  This week the challenge at Sweet Sassy Diva is to use hens or chicks.  I decided to make an Easter card.  I hadn't made one of my favorite kind of cards for awhile so I decided to create a tri shutter card.  These are the directions for sizing and cutting I use from Splitcoast Stampers.
The Easter Spring paper was from last year and the rest of the paper was from my scrap container.
The cute chicken with the cracked egg and the basket were cut at 2.89 from the Cricut cart Celebrate with Flourish.
Here is the completed card closed.
Here is the completed card open.  The little eggs and the Happy Easter sticker were from a set I got at Michaels.  The flowers were from my stash by Recollections (Michaels.)
Here are the chicken cuts laid out on my Gypsy.

Here are background cuts laid out to glue.
Tri shutter cards are really a lot of fun and great for using scraps.  If you haven't tried one I highly recommend them.   I can't wait to see what the rest of the designers create this week with their hens and chicks.
Hope you will come back each day and see what they create. Happy Craftin!

Sunny Days Playtime layout

Today I designed this layout that I am going to enter into a variety of challenges.  Most of the paper is from the Flower Shower Stacks from DCVW that I bought last year.
The Sunny Days Cuts is from Celebrate With Flourish and was cut at 2.5".
The Sun is from Pack Your Bags and was cut at 4 ".
The girl with the ice cream is from Playtime cut a 3 " and the girl jump roping was cut at 4 ".
The grass is from Cake Basics cut at 1" x 12 ".
The trees are from April Showers cut at 5 3/4 " and 6 ".
The sun border was cut from the Cricut Classic font and the flowers for the journaling were cut from Tags, Bags and More at 3 1/2 inches.
I then embossed, cut flowers from a punch, added buttons,  drew accents with Smooch and Sharpies.  I also added Recollection Tear Drop Gems  for ice cream drops. I didn't have yellow so I put yellow alcohol ink on white ones.
