Wow where did May go? I can't believe its already the end of May and in a few days June will be here. It's time for another great challenge at Cooking With Cricut. This week the challenge is May Flowers. I knew right away I wanted to use my new Spring Cottage Cricut cart.
The first time I cut the pieces out I made them way too big for the idea I had so I ended up using them for a layout of my granddaughters. If you would like to see this project click here. Layout with same cuts
So I redid the cuts and came out with this card.
Here is the card folded up.
Here is the card open.
Recipe:
The card is 5 x 12 cardstock folded at 3", 6", 8", 10" and 11".
The gazebo is cut at 4 inches, the gate at 2 1/2 inches and the fence at 1 inch.
The stamp was from Michaels and I cut it apart so there would be a piece on each layer.
I added some tiny gingham ribbon to match the gingham paper.
Used a MS punch for the vine and another for the flowers.
I punched out the border strips and then fussy cut the other sides.
I hope you enjoyed my card for this week.
So before May is gone tap into your creativeness and join us for the May Flowers Challenge at Cooking with Cricut. You have one week to complete your project and link it up. I am looking forward to seeing what you all create. Happy craftin!

ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful card! I love the awesome gazebo and the tons of flowers you have added. I have tried to make step cards many times, however I have not succeeded in making them look the way I want to. Obviously, you have truly "nailed the technique"!
