Hello everyone! Today is the Mother's Day challenge at Cooking with Cricut. For this challenge you are to make a gift not a card. For my gift I made something for all my MOPS (Mother of Preschoolers) that I mentor at church.
The adorable strawberry I cut from the Spring Cottage Cricut cart at 5.5 inches and it is filled with candy Kisses. I embossed the strawberry and the leaf on top and then tied it together with twine.
The basket is cut from Tags, Bags, Boxes and More 2 from page 49 at 11 inches wide.
I added a little raffia in the bottom. Added strawberry ribbon from Michaels and a wood ladybug button. The tag I made on the computer "Have a berry sweet Mother's Day."
When I embossed the strawberry I folded into a heart and when I ran it through the Cuttlebug it embossed or de embossed all the sides which was a perfect effect.
I hope you will join us this week for the challenge at Cooking with Cricut. I can't wait to see all the gift giving ideas you create this week. I hope you all have a wonderful Mother's Day this coming weekend and don't forget to link up your projects. Happy craftin!
