Cricut Chirp, Blog Quick Quotes Win and a project from Scrapbook Expo

I am so excited that one of my layouts I did for Lasting Memories  made the Cricut Chirp today.  I always love opening The Chirp and seeing something I created.  I also won Top 3 at Blog Quick Quotes this week for my tags and now have a new button on my blog.  Woo hoo!

So now on to a project I wanted to share with you.
A few months ago I took a couple classes at a Scrapbook Expo.  This is one of the classes I took.  Instead of the cardboard box they gave us I used a recipe box I got at Michaels for 50 cents awhile back.  I then put labels on the index cards for each month.  The idea of the class  is to make the little mini books below to put pictures in from each month.  It was fun taking the class and I  got some great ideas however as many pics as I take I could probably finish a box in one month.  I decided to finish the project to share and then I am going to use the box to keep photos in I am waiting to scrap.
