Cooking with Cricut- First Day of Summer Challenge

Today at Cooking with Cricut the challenge is "First Day of Summer"- to create a project with a BBQ or Picnic theme.  I have been  looking through my stamps and found some cute ones for this theme.
I had so much fun making these cards using the Simply Charmed Cricut Cart and all scraps from my scrap stash.
This is my hot dog card.  The sentiment says Hot Diggity Dog.
Hot dog cut at 4 inches.  Peachy Keen face, twine, and stitching on the edges.
For the hamburger cut at 5 inches I used four different embossing folders to give it texture.
A Peachy Keen stamp for the face, gel pen and Glossy Accents for the eyes.
Used a button and twine.
Watermelon cut at 5 inches.
Used Peachy Keen Face, gel pen, Glossy Accents, ribbon, and tiny buttons.
I hope you will join us for the "First Day of Summer"  challenge this week.  We would love to see your creations.  You have one week to link up to CWC.  Happy Craftin!

  5. These are SO cute, Suzanne! I love the hot dog card you shared at CWC today -- and these two yummy cards are absolutely adorable. The embossing on your burger card is perfect and those little faces are just too cute.

  6. Suzanne,
Oh, I am loving these photos of your cards.. My only problem is that they are making me hungry. The embossing on the burger is out of this world. It is about the best embossing I have ever seen. The little PK faces, buttons, twine and tag are such great touches to the cards. As Always Suzanne, these are a work of art!!
