My precious little grandson has arrived. It was quite the event. First my daughter went to a Mommy support group she attends. While there she tripped and fell breaking her right arm. One friend took her to the hospital and the other took care of Kenzie until I could get there to get her. The fall started my daughters contractions but the hospital sent her home after a few hours as she was not progressing. Upon her arrival at home my daughters water broke and they rushed back to the hospital and Micah was born 13 minutes after they checked in again. He weighed in a 7 lbs 11 oz and 21 inches long. Except for the broken arm everyone is doing great and already home.
What a blessing my grandchildren are to me.
The happy family
Sweet little Micah

wow!! well that will definitely be a great memory to scrapbook:-)ReplyDelete
Wow...what a story! I'm so thankful she made it back to the hospital in time - that was tooo close! And, I'm so sorry about her arm, I know that will slow her down a bit. But, after all of that, look what she has...oh my...he is a beautiful baby! Just perfect. Congrats to you and your family, enjoy snuggling with your sweet little one!ReplyDelete
Congratulations! What a beautiful little boy. I bet his BIG sister is very proud of her little brother. What a story to share with him when he gets older! At least a rough day ended on a happy note. Hope Mama's arm heals quickly.ReplyDelete
