This week at Lasting Memories the challenge is "My Hometown", I have lived in the same Southern California town since I was 5 years old except for a few years. For my layout I used pictures of different key places in my city of Ventura, California- the pier, the beach at the harbor, and the Mission. I also added some of the key crops strawberries, oranges, and avocados. I added waves cut with my Cricut and letters to spell out Ventura from scrapbook paper. I added gel pen accents to the waves.
So be creative and join us for the layout challenge this week. What is special about your hometown? Remember you have one week to link up your project to Lasting Memories. Happy Craftin!

ReplyDeleteYou are like me! I have basically lived in the same place my whole life. I was born on the Army base in Fort Lewis, WA. .. but a true Seattle girl at heart. Great photos you have here. Love the waves with the white gel pen doodling. I do that quite often as well. :)
