Places we Go

When I first saw this sketch at Sketches in Thyme #147 week 1 I wasn't sure what I was going to do with it.  I decided I wanted to do a starburst design which I have never done so I did a search.
I found a great tutorial by Joy at Obsessed with Scrapbooking.
I followed the directions and used paper that I though blended well together.
I then added the title Places We Go from Silhouette America and the ribbon from my stash.
I stapled the ribbon with my Tim Holtz Tiny stapler
I am really excited the way it turned out and am definitely doing starburst again.
I like the way they focus the eye to the pictures.

  1. Such a cute layout Suz! The kids look adorable and I am really loving your take on the sketch. Fabulous idea to do the starburst pattern and it is oh so fun to do too. I've never did a layout of one, just a card, but boy am I ever loving it just as much on the layout! Hugs, Brenda
