Christmas houses for Charity auction

Last year I made a lovely wood Christmas house during a class at my local scrapbook store.  The teacher was Lance of Rusty Pickle and I love taking his classes.  Well two wood houses were left and just sitting there waiting for some clothes on them.  I decided to decorate these for the auction we are having this Saturday to raise money for the Navy Relief in our area.
These are so fun to decorate and I wanted each one to be unique.
There will be a silent auction and a live auction.  It's so much fun and even better its all for charity.
Here is the front of the first house.  I used paper with bricks for the chimneys and around the door and windows.  Vellum in the window as you put a string of lights inside to light them up.

Here is the back side.  I decorated chipboard ornaments for the dimensional look.
This one has crystal snowflakes and a little red cardinal.
I cut the bird houses out twice and pop dotted them.
Added snowflake beads and Christmas embellies.
Side page more embellishments from Bo Bunny and made a banner of scraps.  Hung with  wire ribbon with balls on it.
This is one of the sides.  Used Joy stickers from stash.  Cut out the owls to pop dot and added little Santa hats from my stash.  Used a MS holly punch too.

I am so excited about the auction and can't wait to see the bidding wars for different projects.
More on that news after the auction Saturday.

  1. These houses are adorable! I'm sure they will go quickly at the auction. I'd love to see them all lit up.
