Let's Scrap - Trip to La Purisima

It's time for another great sketch challenge at Let's Scrap ,
;This awesome sketch has tons of space for pictures big and little and we all have lots of those.
For my layout I used pictures of two of my grandkids at La Purisima Mission in Lompoc, California.  I am actually there visiting them this weekend before school starts again.

A few weeks ago there was a big fire that actually put the mission in danger.  The mission was built in the 1820's and luckily the firemen were not only able to keep the fire from the mission but the homes around it as well.

I used vintage looking paper from my stash and an old metal watch, lock and key.
The clay sheep which I used for the title was actually a photo.
Let's Scrap  has two challenges each month for you to participate in.  One on the 1st and one on the 15th so that gives you plenty of time to create your layouts and join in.  Make sure to check out the layouts on the blog that all the amazing DT members have created to inspire you.

  1. What a fabulous layout Suz! I love the pretty vintage papers, the quotes and of course the pictures. The girls look so cute in their hats! I am so happy to hear that the firefighters were able to save this mission and the houses around it! Hugs, Brenda
