This week at Lasting Memories the challenge is about our "Favorite Destination". This week we have added a sketch for the challenge. Used to be I would have said Hawaii or anywhere a cruise ship would take me. But in the last few years for part of my family my favorite place has become Disney. My oldest daughter and her family have had passes for a couple years and I usually went a couple times during the year with them. Well this year I got my own pass so I can go with them whenever I can. So far I have gone 6 days and we have another trip coming up next month.
For my page I used the new Simple Stories Say Cheese II line. I used some embellishments, washi tape that comes on sheets, and then I punched out Mickey heads.
The viewmaster wheel was cut from a Silhouette file and then I took some of the pictures from our New Years Eve and day trip and cut them to fill in the spaces. The larger pics are of the castle lit up, the matterhorn with the sign saying New Years Eve and my first ever annual pass.
Here is the sketch to use for the challenge. It has so many possibilities.
Please join us for the challenge and all the challenges each week. You have till the end of the month to link them up at Lasting Memories. Happy Craftin!
Great layout! I love the Viewmaster wheel.
ReplyDeleteI also think Disney trips make the best vacations. We go to Disney World about once a year, but last year we visited Disneyland for the first time and had a blast! I had a hard time dragging myself away to see some of the rest of southern California!
What a fabulous layout Suz! I love the big viewmaster wheel with some pics in it!! Love the sketch and your take on it. Hugs Brenda
