Crisp Days of Fall Mini Album- Pic heavy

Today I am teaching my first class of the Crisp Days of Fall Mini Book.  I teach classes at Scrapbook Blessings in Newbury Park, California.  I am so excited that this class has already sold out twice and the third class is almost full too.
The minute I saw the new Bo Bunny Fall line Apple Cider I knew this paper was perfect for a mini so I set my self to designing.
This is very pick heavy but I wanted to share it with you.

I hope you enjoy it !

Here is the cover which is cut around the wheelbarrow to show the scarecrow on the next page.

I love all the little pumpkins, acorns and apples

The flap lifts for more space

There is a girl or a boy for the cover and then it makes into a 6 page book

More pickets and tags

The final page is another mini book with a small banner punched from 1 " circles and then cut in 1/2
Blessings is cut from the Thanksgiving Cricut cart

I hope you have enjoyed looking at my mini album creation and will leave a comment.
Thanks so much for stopping by.

Guest Designer at Child's Play

I often enter the challenges at Child's Play and in June one of my layouts was selected as Top 3 and I was asked to be a guest designer for September.
Here is the layout I did for the Sidewalk chalk challenge

So this is my first project as a Guest Designer at Child's Play .  The challenge this week is the great book The Giving Tree.  Usually on Wednesday I am posting for the  Cooking with Cricut Design Team Challenge. So today for the challenge I used the Scarecrow Boy and Girl and Tree from Paper Crafting World.
The Give Thanks was cut from the Thanksgiving Cricut Cart.

Sweet Sassy Diva Design Team- What I Am Thankful For LO

Tis the season to share what we are thankful for and that is the theme for the Design team this week at Sweet Sassy Diva.  I knew right away that I wanted to share how thankful I am for my three granddaughters.  They are such a blessing and mean the whole world to me.  They make every day such a joy and I love being a grammy.  So here are my little blessings that I am so thankful for:
My 3 Little Pumpkins- Brittany 3 months, Katie 20 months and Kenzie 12 months.
Here is the completed two page layout.
The paper is Paper Best Creations Hello Fall paper from the local LSS.

Months ago I bought a bunch of Tim Holtz grungeboard and I have been enjoying using it recently with Alcohol Inks and Glimmer Mist.  Here is what the packages look like.  I got mine at Tuesday Morning.
I inked the mixed letters with Alcohol Inks- yellow, orange, copper, citrus and cranberry
In this picture I am laying out the letters and the pictures to see how everything is fitting.
Next I made the pumpkin and flourish from the Thanksgiving cart.  I cut both pieces 3 times.  I embossed the top flourish and pumpkin and pop dotted them to give them dimension.
This pic is before I added the embossed pumpkin.
The leaves on the top of the pumpkin cut out with the pumpkin so I used an olive color Sharpie to color them in.  My Gypsy has gone back to PC so couldn't hide the shapes and cut them out separately.
Here is embossed pumpkin and then I added Tim Holtz Rusty Hinge ink and Stickles.
Not sure if you have seen these punches before.  They are called Paper Shapers punches by EK Success.  I got two at my local LSS and one at Joann's. I had never seen them before until I took a class at the LSS.
If you look really careful at the paper you can see the three different corners.  You cut the paper 1/2 inch larger than the picture and then punch all 4 corners.
Then your picture or mat paper slides right in.
I also cut out three of the same pumpkin from Thanksgiving Cart at 1.5 inches and hand wrote the girls ages.  I added a little pumpkin ribbon I had in my stash and everything was put together.
Hope you enjoyed the layout and tutorial.  Would love to read your comments.  Please come back and join us all week at Sweet Sassy Diva to see what else the Design Team has come up with.
I am entering this in the Frosted Design- embossing challenge.
Happy Craftin!

Memories in Time Thanksgiving Blog Hop Day 2

Thanksgiving Hop

This is a TWO-DAY hop, so be sure to catch both days for maximum ideas (you'll find the entire line-up below my post)!!

For the hop today, I've created four Thanksgiving related projects to share with you.
First I would like to share these cute little soap bottles I got at the 99Cent store.  They also come in other colors and make such cute little gifts.  The labels peel off easily and then I used the Thanksgiving cart and vinyl to add the words.   I also wrap raffia and add a tag before giving these out.  They have green ones too that are great for Christmas.

Another vinyl project I love to do is decorate Charger plates.  These chargers I got last year at Walmart and they are perfect for Fall decor.  Not sure if they have them this year.  But worth the check.
These are the little votive candles you can buy in boxes at Michaels.  I had a set left over from a wedding and so I added vinyl and placed them with the placecards and napkins rings at each table.
for the napkins I went to Joanns and got several yards of Fall calico fabric and cut with pinking sheers.  I then made paper rings, added leaves and twine and these looked great with my Fiesta ware dished.

To be elgible for my blog candy please become a follower and leave a comment.  I will draw a winner after this  blog hop for a $10 gift card for your choice of Michaels or Joanns.
Any comment made on the 4th, 5th and 16th will be elgible.  So if you missed my projects please go back and leave a comment for more chances to win.  Here are the links.

Recipe for project:
I took 4 x 6 pieces of cardboard which was a kit to make a mini book from Michaels for $1.
I rounded the corners with my Corner Chomper and then covered the front and back with 4 x 6 pieces of paper.  I then corner rounded the paper.
Next I cut our shapes from a variety of Fall papers and glued to front.
I inked the edges with Tim Holtz Vintage Photo ink.
I then added my cuts from the Thanksgiving cart.
Phrases 2.5, Turkey 3.5, Pilgrim heads 3.0
I then laid the pieces out and used a ruler to space the pieces evenly.  I folded the ribbon over on the top to make a loop and stapled to secure it.
Next I cut out from Art Philosophy  6 -4.5 inch roses from page 62 and 12 roses from page 65 at 4 inches.
I used DCWV Fall cardstock.  The flowers are rolled and I glued them with the glue gun. I then inked them and added Stickles to the edges.    I added a little Stickles on some of the other cuts as well.  The roses were glued on with the glue gun, a little bling was added to the corners and my project was done.

Copper Fall Leave Card

For this card I used the Cuttlebug embossing folder Brocade Window with cordinations paper.  I then sanded it down to show the design more.  Give Thanks was cut from  the Thanksgiving Cart.  The leaf branches were cut from the Martha Stewart Seasonal Cake Art Cartridge.  The center leaf was cut and embossed with a Cuttlebug leaf folder.  It didn't quite cut through the thin copper  I used so I had to finish hand cutting it.  I then added three  leaf brads and ribbon.  I am entering these in the

Designs on Cloud 9

Thank you everyone for your great comments yesterday.  I got so many great ideas  and I am sure you did too.  For the hop today, I've created a Fall charger decorative plate and card.  I made charger plates last year for a Christmas boutique and they were very popular.  This week at Michaels they have Fall color charger plates 2 for $3.
The center circle measures 8 inches so I cut Count your Blessings from the Thanksgiving Cricut cart at 7 inches with gold vinyl.  I then weeded the vinyl and put it on transfer tape.
I then added leaves (Me and My Big Ideas Mambi Chips) and acorns and pine cones (Mambi stones).  These are all from Michaels in the scrapbook Fall section.
I made a card to match so I could give this as a gift.  I used the Brocade Window Cuttlebug Embossing Plus folder.  The pattern papers are DCWV Harvest stack from Joanns.  I used more of leaves left from plate, some ribbon, and inked paper with Tim Holtz Rusty Hinge ink.  The Thanks stamp is from Joanns dollar bing and the Happy Fall Y'all is from Pink Cricut.

I hope you liked my project and have enjoyed all the great Fall projects these past two days.  If you missed the projects yesterday make sure you go through the Day 1 hop too.  There were so many amazing projects.
I am entering this in the Love to Crop Challenge.Happy Fall You All

For my blog candy I  will choose a winner by Random.org on Monday September 19th.  To be in the drawing I ask that you leave a comment and that you are a follower of my blog. ( I love comments and followers !)  The winner will receive a $10 gift card from their choice of Michaels or Joanns.
