Lasting Memories challenge- New Beginnings (First Day of School)

Here it is Sunday and time for another challenge at Lasting Memories.  We are still on the Theme New Beginnings. This week the focus is a New Life Event such as Marriage, Birth, Moving, New Job, New School, house, etc.  

For my layout I used pics from the fist day of school when my 2nd granddaughter Kenzie started Transitional Kindergarten.  The hands, letters and title were cut from Silhouette America.  The paper was from my stash and the ribbon I believe from Michaels.

Back 2 School with Paper Crafting World

Hello crafty friends- This is Suzanne from CricutcraftinGrammy and I am so thrilled to be back designing with Melin at Paper Crafting World for the 2015 Fall and Winter.  

Melin creates the most amazing files that are so fun to create with.   I hope you are excited as I am to see what all the new and returning designers have in store for you.  

Today in honor of Back to School I created a double page layout of my grandkids.  

Each is holding their Back to School board I created with their individual info

 For the first page I used the PCW Back to school Title CF

and for the second page I used the PCW Bear with Backpack sitting CF

I added the stamps on the chalkboard with white ink for the

optional twist for the September Challenge.
I inked the edges with Quick Quotes Powder Puff Ink 

Katie 5 kindergarten and Brittany 3 Preschool

Kenzie 4 Transitional K and Micah 2 Preschool 

For my project I also used Recollections apple and blackboard paper

Back to school with an adorable PPBN file

Today was back to school for us  after Winter Break.  This layout is one I made for pics at the beginning of school but never got posted.  

 I used the apple with bear file and crayon file from PPBN files.  

Niki is posting a lot of adorable Valentine files this month that you don't want to miss.

Back to School Mini book Class

Wow I just found this post and realized it was never completed.  This is a class I taught several months ago.  I used a lot of Glimmer Mist, stamps, stencils,  Cricut diecuts, 

twine, ribbon  and embellishments.  

The rosette on the front cover was made using the Tim Holtz rosette dies and the Graphic 45 see through windows were filled with beads, buttons, and paper clips.
