I am the hostess for the challenge this week at BBTB2.. I came up with this challenge "Little Boy Blue" as my first grandson is due anytime now. This is a big change for our family as I had two girls and they have blessed me with three girls so far. I am looking forward to scrapping in blue now. So for this challenge I am asking the design team and everyone up for the challenge this week to create a project using the color blue. Remember you need to use the color blue. It does not have to be a baby project. I can't wait to see what everyone

BBTB2 Challenge- Make a Shape card
For the first challenge of September our BBTB2 Design Team sister Stephanie
has asked us to design a shape card.
I knew right away I was going to make a card for my daughter's baby shower coming up this next weekend.
I already had the cuts I wanted on my Gypsy as I had made invitations for the shower (See below). So all I needed to do was weld the shadow mitt cuts to make my shape card and make all the cuts bigger.
I used the Boys Will be Boys Cartridge
Mitt cut at 5 inches from page 29
Bat and Ball page 39 cut at 5 inches
The All Star is cut from Life's a Party page 47 cut at 9 inches.
Micah was cut from Nate's ABC at .75 inches
I embossed the ball and the bat
Inside of card
Here is the invitation that motivated me to make a matching card.
I am having fun making 'boy" themed things after 3 granddaughters. Next I am working on more goodies for the shower. So stay tuned for more!
I hope you will join us this week for the "Shape Card" challenge. Remember to link up to BBTB2 by Saturday. Happy Craftin!

BBTB2 Back to School Challenge- Pull out book
Today both FCCB and BBTB2 have Back to School as their challenge themes.
My first post for the day will be the FCCB Back to School Cricut Crawl
and the second will be the BBTB2 challenge.
Remember you have one week to link your projects up for both of these challenges.
Reminder- Blog Candy
Starting August 18th through August 31th I am going to draw one lucky winner by Random.org who leaves a comment and is a follower of my blog for a $10 Gift Card to Michaels.
I will also draw one lucky new follower for a goody bag. I now have 603 followers which is amazing to me.
So thank you all!
It's Back to School for most of the country this time of year. So today at BBTB2 my wonderful friend and Design Team sister Brenda asked us to design a "Back to School Project.
It will be so fun seeing what all the Design Team member have created.
For my project I designed a mini book for my granddaughter Kenzie who started preschool this past week. She is going to preschool two days a week and was one tired puppy after her first day of school.
The book base came from Creative Imaginations.
This is the cover.
Paper is DCWV School stack from Michaels
Kenzie's name is cut from Nate's ABC
This is the book open with Preschool cut from Nate's ABC and backed with 1 inch circles.
When you pull the book it opens like this and spells out Preschool
Some pages have pockets and tags
I
Some have little mini books
Photo mats
I used Locker Talk, Recess, and Nate's ABc
Embellishments
Ribbon from Stash
Remember you have one week to join us for the Back to School Challenge. We would love to see your creations and have you link up with BBTB2.

Here is a one page layout I did using some bright fun paper and a couple quick Cricut cuts.
The "Read" was cut from Mickey and Friends, the "N" from Mickey Font and the Draw from Nate's ABC. The Crayola embellishments were from the Michael's $1 section and then I added some doodling.

Summer Picnic layout for CC challenge
This is my entry for the Cricut Circle Monthly Challenge.
JULY MONTHLY CHALLENGE: Let’s Eat Challenge!
One of the best things about the summertime is the opportunity to have meals and family gatherings outside! This month, we want you to create something with a BBQ, Picnic, or Patio theme, AND a gingham or check pattern.Sad to say this is the last project I did with my beloved Gypsy before I had to send her into PC yesterday. The title of this layout is Summer Picnic. The table red and white check paper I got at Joanns.
For the title I used Mickey Font at 1.87 and welded it to a square to make the page. I then cut the letters out at 1.67 in the check material.Basket is from My Community at 5 inches. I added the check for the look of a cloth and it was hand cut.
The ants are from Nates ABC cut at 2 inches.
Chicken leg Everyday Paper Doll 2 inches, Strawberry Country Life 2 inches, Cuts from Block Party-
salad 3 inches, watermelon 3 inches, mustard, ketchup, soda 3 inches and pie 3 1/2 inches.

BBTB2 Challenge Prize watermelon
This is the card I made for the BBTB2 challenge this week. You were to make a project with the watermelon cut from Stretch Your Imagination. I cut out the watermelon and added it to the wagon cut from Nate's ABC. Then I used my Tim Holtz mini rosette maker to make a first prize ribbon for my watermelon. The little snippets of ribbon were stapled with my mini stapler. I had seen this done in magazines but never tried it before.
