Cooking with Cricut Challenge Cards for Brandon

This week at Cooking with Cricut it is time for a card challenge where we can give back to a sweet little boy named Brandon.  Brandon has been selected for Madison's May "I Feel the Love" Recipient.  Brandon who is only 4 years old was in a terrible car accident and will need considerable long term care.
One family member was lost in this tragic accident and others were also seriously injured.
So here is my card for sweet little Brandon-
For my card I decided to dust off my Robotz cart and cut out a smiling robot.   I used a 6 x 6 Easel card as my base and some robot paper I got at Michael's last year.
This cute little robot was cut from page 29 at 5 inches.  I then added the stamp What's up?

I cut out Brandon's name from the same cart at .75 inches and added a smile stamp.
I used  a white gel pen and Glossy Accents to jazz it up a little.
Please join us for the Cooking with Cricut card challenge this week and lets send  these cards out to Brandon.  I am sure it would be uplifting to him and his family.
Check out Cooking with Cricut for more info.

Vintage look Father's Day Card for my Hubs

I still needed to make a Father's Day card for my husband.  Right now our world is all about the grandkids Katie 17 months, Kenzie 7 months and Brittany who will arrive next month.  We all call him Papa so wanted to make him a card with Papa from the Heritage cart using the CC Weekly challenge sketch.
Papa was cut at 1 inch.  I then embossed some metallic paper with my Cuttlebug gears folder.  Wow do I love embossing that paper.   I also cut the cogs from  Robotz page 57 at 7 inches so they would be big enough.  I added a bottle cap and some metal cogs to the cards with brads.  On the inside I used some more of the cogs and a stamp I got at Joann's for $1 which went with the vintage theme.  I added Baker's Twine to the side edge.  I think Hubs will really like this card.

More Valentine Cards this time with Robotz cart.  I had to make these up quickly today for two neighbor boys 6 and 10.  I will be honest this is first time I used Robotz and loved it.  I had the Robotz paper left from last year.  I made the little fold over cuts on fronts.  Sorry I forgot to take a pic but underneath I stamped Be Mine.  Then on front I used a little mini stamp set to stamp "DO NOT OPEN".  Of course the minute they saw this they had to open it.  On one the wheel held the flap shut but on the other I had to add a little clip.
Quick, simple and they loved them.   Sorry the pics are so blurry but cards are gone so can't retake them.
