Here is a layout I did awhile back with Bo Bunny paper. Two of my granddaughters have been in love with their rain boots and want to wear them all the time so those are pics on first page. The second page is pics of grandaughter Kenzie trying on different shoes including her dads tennis shoes.

BBTB2 "Farm Animal" Challenge
Hello everyone! It is time for another great challenge at BBTB2. This week our hostess is our awesome DT sister Krista. She has challenged us to create a project using a "Farm Animal".
I decided to make a cow card as I knew I had the perfect stamps for it that I got at a Scrap Yard Sale at my LSS. The stamp set actually came with its own cow stamp which I used on the inside.
(Please excuse the wrinkled background but if I edit it anymore you won't see the shape.)
All cuts from Create a Critter
The barn cut from page 45 was welded with my Gypsy and cut at 4.5 inches.
The cow is cut at 3.5 inches and the talking cloud 1.5 x 3.0 and the shadow at 1.75 x 3.25.
White gel pen stitching
Hope you liked my udderly silly card. Please join us for the "Farm Animal" Challenge. You have two weeks to create and link up your project at BBTB2. Also don't forget the "Christmas in July" challenge. You still have one week to link up to that challenge.
Happy Craftin!

Lasting Memories Digging for Silver Layout Challenge
Wow so hard to believe we are already at the end of July. This week for our last challenge of the month for Lasting Memories we are "Mining for Silver". Make a project using silver.
For my layout I used Quick Quotes Julie J'taime paper and embellishments.
I also used some silver buttons, twine, died seam binding ribbon,
and little purple felt flowers from Michaels $1 bins.
I also found out I could buy black with white print ribbon for my label maker
so I made my own labels. This is great to label pics since these are
assorted pictures of my oldest granddaughter.
I hope you will join us this week for the challenge at Lasting Memories. We love to see what you create. Remember this is a layout only challenge. Happy craftin!

Layouts for Let's Get Sketchy and Creative Scrappers #217
The last two layouts for today are for two different challenges. The first is Let's Get Sketchy
Here is the layout using K and Company papers and stickers
The On the Go title was cut from Nate's ABC.
Also used a white gel pen, twine and flowers.
Then I used the sketch for Creative Scrappers #217
Again I used K and Company paper, Nate's ABC for the title Food Critic.
Twine, buttons and a white gel pen.
My second layout for Creative Scrappers # 216 and Child's Play
This is my second layout for today using a Creative Scrappers sketch.
This one actually goes with the first one I posted earlier today using the same Cosmo Cricket paper.
I am also entering this in the Child's Play Goodnight Moon Challenge- hence the pictures of my granddaughter Katie falling asleep.
My take on Creative Scrappers sketch 215
I am going to have several post today as I have completed a bunch of layouts for different challenges and haven't had time to post them all yet. Since it is the end of the month I need to get busy.
The first layout is for Creative Scrappers. Here is the sketch.
Here is my layout. Sorry the layout is so crooked.
Otherwise I was really happy with it.
I used Cosmo Cricket paper, MS punches, brads, and pearls.
Oh and also two doilies.

Christmas in July at CWC- My decorated vinyl plate
All week we are celebrating Christmas in July at Cooking with Cricut. Come by and check out the awesome projects and Christmas fun each day this week.
Here is a charger plate I made for todays decor and gift project. I bought these at Michaels last year and I added some vinyl cuts from Winter Lace. Since the cuts all come in a snowflake pattern they are perfect to fit and design to plates. These look so pretty in an easel on a mantle or table.
Charger plates are very reasonably priced I think like 2 for $5. They make great gifts at Christmas when you need something quick. Plus they are fun to personalize too. I buy them at Michaels in various colors throughout the year. Also last year Walmart had some beautiful ones with acorns on them that were awesome for the Fall.

CWC-Christmas in July
All week we are celebrating Christmas at CWC. Everyday this week there will be a Christmas related post. Make sure to check it out to get your Christmas Crafty Mojo on early.
Today at Cooking with Cricut the challenge is Christmas in July- use a scrap of some kind. I decided to not only use some scrap Christmas paper from last year but a leftover paint chip I had. (We are doing a bathroom remodel and no I did not pick any of these greens). I cut the tree from Winter Frolic page 48 at 4. 5 inches. I added a stamped sentiment and some ribbon from Michaels last year.
So I got two cards out of one cut on a paint swatch. Cute don't you think?
Then I took the cut out tree and made another card with scraps of ribbon and paper from last year.
I hope you will enjoy us for the challenge this week. You have one week to link up your projects at CWC. Don't forget to come back each day this week to see what Melin and DT has in store for you.
Happy craftin!

Yummy - My project for CC and Sous Challenge
This week I had several challenges I like to participate on my list and a stack of pictures to get busy on. For this layout I chose to combine the SOUS-Hidden tag challenge and the Cricut Circle "Out of Character" Cartridge Challenge
The background papers are from the In My Kitchen stack from DCWV.
The title is "YUMMY" and this is Brittandy my youngest granddaughter.
Cricut Cuts for Cricut Circle Challenge
Out of Character title cut at 5 inches
Accent Essentials Circle cut at 8 inches
Baby Steps Baby food jars cut at 5 inches and cut apart.
Freshly Picked Carrots and Peas cut at 5 inches
Words peas and carrots cut at 1 inch.
Cuts highlighted with white gel pen.
For the Sous Hidden Journal I matted the photo and then glued the sides and bottom only to the circle. Leaving a pocket. The black mat corners are done with an EK Success punch.
My tag I cut a rectangle and rounded the corners. I added twine to the top for a pull out tab.
Lasting Memories-Black and White and a Splash of Color
This week the challenge at Lasting Memories is to use Black and White and a Splash of color.
I apologize for being late with my post this week. I had a Crops of Love charity hop on Sat and Sunday and then two DT post yesterday. So now on with my layout which I am excited to share.
I decided to use this picture of my granddaughter Kenzie with her big blue eyes and use blue as my color. The paper I used was from an 8 x 8 pad of 7 Gypsies called Paddington.
I framed Kenzie's picture in a a blue, white and black mat.
The four pieces were laid out and the corners turned and put down with brads.
The title was done with the Cricut cart Nursery Rhyme (Blue 2.5 and Eyes 1.5) and then I added some white gel pen accents.
I wanted to add something else and came up with this idea for the twine. I have a box of these fancy little paper clips from my teaching days. So I pulled out some that matched hooked them to the picture and then ran the twine through.
And here it is "Blue Eyes"
Please join us this week at Lasting Memories for the "Black and White and a splash of color".
We would love to see your creations. Remember this is a layout challenge only and you must link up by Saturday to be in the challenge. Happy craftin!

BBTB2 Christmas in July
Today is a double post day for Design Teams for me.
I hope you will check them both out today and leave comments.
Today at BBTB2 our designer Jayne has challenged us to design a project for "Christmas in July".
I was so inspired by the wonderful projects that the BBTB2 designers and entrants made for the "Window to you World" challenge that I decided to use windows on a Christmas layout. I still had some Graphic 45 paper left from last year and thought it would be perfect for this.
I cut the window from the Christmas cartridge cutting the window at 4.5 x 5 using my Gypsy.
The red shape to accentuate the windows came from Elegant Edges page 33 cut at 4.5 x 5.5.
I had a few leftover chipboard pieces and also some other embellishments that had a vintage feel.
Here are closeups of the pages and the windows.
I used Tim Holtz Vintage Photo for distressing, a EK Success corner punch for the mats, and twine.
The snow on the window sills was made with a Pearl Pen.
I hope you have enjoyed and been inspired by my layout. Remember you have two weeks to create a Christmas project and link it up here at BBTB2. You also have one more week for the "Fashion" Challenge that started last week.
FCCB- Wedding Bliss Challenge
Today is a double post day for Design Teams for me.
I hope you will check them both out today and leave comments.
It's time for the FCCB challenge and this week the challenge is Wedding Bliss. For this week your project needs to be for a wedding or anniversary theme.
I decided to make a card using the Sweethearts cartridge of this cute little couple in a car. The cut is found on page 65 cut at 4.5 inches.
The card shape is cut from Elegant Edges page 41 at 5.5 in the red and 5.75 in the green.
I added a little twine, bling and a stamp.
This stamp on the inside is from a set I got at Michaels a couple years ago. All the quotes are from kids and are really funny. The small hearts are from cutout of card front
and the larger heart is a MS punch.
I hope you will join us this week for the FCCB challenge. It's always nice to have a wedding or anniversary card in your stash. We look forward to seeing your creations.

CWC-PCW Crops of Love Hop- Day 2
Welcome to the CookingWithCricut.com, Crops of Luv Blog Hop. This month our designers chose to create layouts for the Crops of Luv Organization. If you came here from Becky from Scrap Circus then you are in the right place, if you need to start from the beginning, then just head over to CWC.
Crops of Luv works hand-in-hand with the Make-A-Wish Foundation and creates scrapbooks for families who have children facing life-threatening illnesses. Our hop will focus on creating 12 x 12 Scrapbook double page LOs using these themes: Princesses, Pirates, Animal Kingdom, Magic Kingdom, Summer Fun (e.g. swimming), Christmas (yes, they have Christmas every Thursday at "Give Kids the World"), or general Disney themes.
Crops of Luv has some specific guidelines for the layouts. They need to include a journaling block or tag and mats for 3 4 x 6 pictures on each page. They also do not want the photo mats permanently adhered to the page. That way they can flip them whichever way they need to.
We hope you will enjoy our creations! We would love for you to participate. You can make a two-page layout following the parameters outlined above and mail it directly to Crops of Luv c/o Roberta Baker, 11424 S. Pawnee Circle, Phoenix, AZ 85044. Since this blog hop is also a challenge, be sure to link your project to CWC/PCW.
If you would like more information about this organization, or would like to make a monetary or supply donation, please visit their web site, www.cropsofluv.com.
Todays double page layouts have a girl theme. For these I used the Imagine cartridges Best Friends and Blast OFF
Layout 1-

If you get lost along the way, please be sure to head back to CWC and start from there. Be sure to head over to CWC and leave a comment for a chance to win some blog candy and to link your own Crops of Luv creation. Now you can head over to Jen at Musings of a Crafty Mom. CW Bubbilicious Buttons and Brads
Hope you are having a fun and sunny Summer. This week at Cooking with Cricut the challenge is to use Buttons or Brads on your layout. I decided to use this adorable bear blowing bubbles from Melin at Paper Crafting World. Isn't this little bear just the cutest? You can also find a cute little boy bear at PCW.
Well let me just say this layout actually wasn't at all what I planned, but I am happy with the way it came out. I wasn't paying attention to the size I was cutting my bear pieces so they barely fit on the 12 x 12 page. I put them together and then came up with the idea of adding the picture of my granddaughter Katie blowing bubbles in the little bears lap. I used the bubbles from the file as well as large blue buttons. The title was cut from Plantin Schoolbook Roly Poly font at 2.35 inches.
For the bubbles I also added some Diamond Stickles and Glossy Accents to give them sheen. there is also white gel pen on the letters. I also added Googly eyes to the bear.
Here are more pics of Katie blowing bubbles and playing in her water bucket.
One big cute teddy bear and one little happy girl
I hope you loved my layout. I would love for you to leave a comment.
Remember you have until next Tuesday to enter the Buttons and Brads challenge at Cooking with Cricut. I can't wait to see your amazing projects. Happy Craftin!
Also don't forget to join the CWC and PWC Designers this Saturday and Sunday for the
