Day 7 of 25 My Paper Crafting- April- Flowers n' Showers

Here is my project for the April Flowers N Showers day 7 at My Paper Crafting.  Today I used my Art Philosophy cart and made multiple roses from page 70.  I cut the spiral flower at 2.75 inches so I get 16 per page.  These were cut from paper that had words all over it.
I covered a straw wreath with satin ribbon .  I formed the roses with a quilling tool and then glue gunned them all over the wreath.  I left space to add a large satin bow.
This is another item that I donated to the charity auction to raise money for Wounded Warriors at the scrapbook store where I teach classes.

Two more projects I made for the Charity auction

Today I would like to share a couple more projects I created especially for the Charity auction at the scrapbook store where I teach Scrapbook Blessings in Newbury Park, Califronia.  Each year they hold a charity auction to raise money for the Wounded Warriors and Navy Relief Funds.  I have been busy, busy making special one of a kind projects for the silent and live auction.
These are two more of my projects which were auctioned off.  I tell you scrappy people are so generous.
For this project
I used a Tim Holtz shadowbox, Graphic 45 paper Nutcracker Sweet and a little nutcracker I got at Michaels in the $1 section.  Much of the paper was leftover pieces and also chipboard pieces from the Nutcracker album and shadowbox classes.  It's a great way to use up scraps as you need such little pieces.
Then this past week I made 3  Paper cone wreaths.  I found the decorations on the internet.
They are so quick and easy and a great use for scrap paper.
This one was made of approx 24  of 4 inch squares made into cones.  For the center I made  5 of 2 inch cones and pinched together to form the center.
I also inked the edges and sprayed with Glimmer Mist to give a gold sheen.

Day 5 of 25 at My Paper Crafting-Gingerbread-Holiday Baking

I am so excited to share my project today for Day 5  of the 25 Days= Gingerbread and Holiday Baking.
A while back I designed  a Christmas Memory/Recipe book.  I taught this class a few weeks ago at Scrapbook Blessings in Newbury Park, California.  I used the Graphic 45 Nutcracker Sweet Collection, Farm House Mini book, Elegant Edges and From my Kitchen carts for cuts
 and many embellishments and ribbons.
Last night over 50 people attended the annual charity  auction to raise funds for Wounded Warriors and
Navy Relief Fund.  I am happy to say a lot of my projects were sold by silent or live auction including my album.  Here is the very generous new owner Mary Ann with me holding her book.
Here are the pictures - Warning very pick heavy
Front cover which opens into a story book
The pages alternate between picture mats
and pockets for recipes
The back of each recipe page is more of the Nutcracker story and music

Day 4 of 25 Days at My Paper Crafting- February Hearts, Flowers N Candy

This is my project for today when we are celebrating Year Round Crafting for February.
I used the Melin's Paper Craftin World SVG Cutting file and the Bee Mine digital file.
I colored the bee digi with my Spectrum Noir pens and placed it  on top of the SVG cut.  I added Stickles to the wings, black pearls for the  bug and some bling on the flourish.  I used some K and Company Valentine paper I had in my stash from years past and some bee ribbon.  The punches along the bottom are MS punches and the corner punch for the layout is a EK Corner Adorner.

BBTB2 Challenge- Decorate a gift bag or tag

Hello everyone!  Suzanne here with your challenge this week at BBTB2.  I hope you are all eagerly awaiting a new challenge after our break last week.  I know I was.
Today is a big day of resting  for me.   The last few weeks I have been creating like crazy for the Charity Auction at my LSS last night.  I am now teaching there so  many of my creations went on sale for the Wounded Warriors  and Navy Relief Fund.  It was an amazing auction and crafty people are some of the most generous people on Earth.
So on with the show-
This week I am challenging everyone to think about Gift Giving and decorate a gift bag or tag
using a Cricut cut.   Although I am crafty  I often forget about this aspect.  It is so fun to give a well thought out gift in a gift bag, box or container that you took the time to create and with an adorable homemade tag.

For my project I used the new Creative Memories Holiday Tags for my tag shape.  My gift box is an explosion box made with the new Mini Carts.  I made the box at fit to page for the largest cut and then went from there.  I used K and Company double sided paper from the last couple years.  This is perfect for an ornament or small gift.
I put a plastic ornament in so you could see the size but no this is not what I am putting in my box.  LOL
I used tags from same paper stack to decorate the inside and to use on my tag on top.  I also cut out a left over pointsettia and scored it for dimension for the top.  I added gems and Stickles to bling it out.

Remember the post  will be going live with our Monday morning weekly posts
will be going live at 7:00 am EST. Remember to link your projects up here before the challenge ends next Sunday night December 11th here at BBTB2.   We want to see your tags and bags.

Day 2 of 25 Days at My Paper Crafting-January Winter Sparkle

I am so excited to be a part of the 25 Days of Christmas and Year 'Round Crafting Showcase with all the wonderful designers at My Paper Crafting.  Today for the January challenge we were asked to use some Winter Sparkle.
For my project I am sharing a double page layout that I designed for Scrapbook classes at the scrapbook store where I teach.  I used the Bo Bunny winter line Powder Mountain.
I cut the snowflake in the top right corner out with Art Philosophy and then using ribbon I filled in the cut out with ribbon.

Here is a closeup of the layers.  The center is cut from a lazer design bag from the dollar store.
I then took the cut out die cut and added it to a doily and topped it with chipboard embellishments.  In the other corner is a smaller doily and cut out.

Day 1 of 25 Days at My Paper Crafting- Ornaments

I am so excited to be a part of the 25 Days of Christmas and Year 'Round Crafting Showcase with all the wonderful designers at My Paper Crafting.  Today for my ornament I made an ornament using the free ornament digi file that I colored with my Spectrum Noir markers.  I cut this out after coloring and placed on a circle for the center of my cone ornament.
The ornament was made by cutting 3 x 3 squares of double sided paper and forming them into cones.  I  used a glue gun to form them and then glued them on to a  2 inch cardboard circle.
Once I formed the first circle I turned the ornament over and  placed the other 8 cones in the center of two cones to form the back.  I added ribbon for the string.
Here is a link to a tutorial.  There are others too if you google cone wreath tutorial.
Later in the week I will post the wreaths I made also.
