It's Easter Blog Hop Day 2- April 8

Day 2- Thank you so much for all of you who joined in the Easter Blog Hop yesterday and left such wonderful comments.  I too got a lot of great ideas from all the great projects. Remember for each day you can leave a comment and get 4 chances to win. If you miss a day you can still go back and leave a comment.  I will choose the winner by random.org on Monday morning. Sorry I forgot to post my Blog Candy last night. The  winner of my blog will receive a $10 gift card to either  Michaels or Joanns  (your choice).   All the Blog Hop details and the participants are in my post for April 7th if you need more information.

Easter Tree-

I bought this little metal tree last year after Easter as I thought it would be fun to decorate for different holidays.  I used different cuts from the Easter 2010 cart. I tried to make it so it looked good from all sides.  I also used my new Tim Holtz rosette die, some little eggs and ribbon.  Sorry the pictures are not the best. Remember you can click on the picture to make  them  bigger.  On the top of the tree one side says Easter and one says Spring.

Glory Card-

So fun making cute little bunny and chick projects but wanted to make a project sharing what I believe is the true meaning of Easter. I used the cross from the Easter cart and embossed the back ground paper with wood look folder.  Hung sheer ribbon around cross. Inside is sprayed with Glimmer Mist and I used cuts from Inspired Hearts.
Tomorrow I will be posting a fullsize Easter Vintage look banner and another card.  Have a great day

Each day of the Blog Hop I will be posting a crafty project as well as an Easter card.

Day 1 April 7, 2011
Easter bucket- This is the first time I have made one of these cute little buckets.  I will definitely do this again.  I used the Easter 2010 cart for all the cuts.  I cut a paper to fit the size of my bucket and then decorated it all around.  I then made a mini banner and attached it with strong tape to the inside of the bucket and the other end to the lid.  You can fill the bucket with candy or little goodies and place the banner neatly on top.  When the lid is opened it will pull the banner out to reveal the goodies inside.

Shape card- this was a card I made last year that reminds me of the sugar egg look.  Cuts
from Easter 2010 cart and the butterflies are from a MS punch.
Hope you enjoyed todays project and come back tomorrow to see my Easter tree and another card.
If you have started here at Cricutcraftingrammy you can go to the beginning HERE and hop along with us.

Vintage Card with sketch for CC weekly challenge

This is my card for the Weekly challenge on the CC Blog.  We were to make a sketch and  then use the sketch for the project.  I wanted to make a Vintage card.  Used Fabulous Finds, Mother's Day Bouquet cart.  Use Tim Holtz ink on edges.  Made beaded pins to add to flowers and added the metal key.

Close up of flowers.

Two Floral Embellished Mother's Day cards for BBTB2 challenge

This is my card for the BBTB2 challenge this week.  The challenge was to make a Mother's Day card with the 2010 Mother's Day Cart or another cart.  I do not have the MD 2010 so used Florals Embellished which has a ton of phrases for Mothers, Grandmas, etc. I love this cartridge a lot.   Since my mom passed several years ago I made cards for my DD's.  The first is for my oldest daughter who became a mom in November. She loves blues and purples.
The second card is for my youngest daughter who has a 15 month old and is expecting her second girl in July. She loves pink which I guess is a real good thing since they will have two girls.

It's Easter Blog Hop April 7-10th-preview card with SU stamps

I am very excited about the upcoming Blog Hop I am participating in .  There are some very crafty people participating .  I hope you will join us everyday to get some great ideas.
The card below I made this week after getting my first SU stamp.  I know, I know I should have ordered from them along time ago, but I was afraid to give into another temptation.  My friend Brenda set me up with her SU consultant and viola my first card with the stamp. Thanks again for the enabling Brenda.  Now let me tell you about the flowers on the tree.  I didn't use permanent ink so when I started adding Stickles (Diamond) it began to run.  My first reaction was Oh no I ruined my card but low and behold I realized it looked really cool so I continued and this time I actually like my error.  The Easter paper is from J's.  One of only two Easter paper sheets  they had.  The cardstock is shiny paper I get at J's in 8 1/2 x 11 tablets.  Added flower, bling, and ribbon and I was done.

More Recipe book pages for the One hour challenge

Here are two more pages I did for the One Hour Challenge Recipe swap.  The first recipe was from my friend Brenda.  The second recipe is one I got offline from Paula Deen.  I had this pudding last week at bible study and it was so yummy.  I used Sesame Street Friends and some sticker letters.
