Last Julie Nutting doll tag class- Vintage Dolls!

Tomorrow is the last Julie Nutting doll stamp class at Busy Bees Studio in Newbury Park, California.  I created these three tags for the ladies to make using three new doll stamps since CHA 2015.  I fell in love with them right away as I love vintage clothing.

Jeanne is sophisticated in vintage pink, cream and tan.
Paper is an old stack of Paper and Lace from DCWV.

Ruby is sassy in teal, cream and tan.  Love the new beads you can buy from Prima.
Paper is from an old stack of DCWV and a MS punch

And for young Tommy I used a Nautical theme using Graphic 45 By the Sea Paper.
Ship wheel file from Silhouette America.

I believe there are several kits available if anyone is interested.

Nancy's Christmas truck book

We have the most wonderful teacher Nancy who comes to teach at our scrapbook store.  I love taking her classes.  This Summer we made a farm book and this is the Christmas version of the album which I just love.  I always learn so much from Nancy.   Every page is packed with the cutest places for pictures, embellishments and fun fun paper.

Graphic 45 Layout classes September through December

I have been teaching classes this year to a group of dedicated ladies.  Each month we make a two page layout.  The first page comes from Graphic 45 and then I create a 2nd page using what is left from the cut aparts page.  Here is the September through December layouts.  The ladies are very pleased with their albums and can't wait to see what we do next year.

Minibook with Steampunk Spells

Yesterday I posted a Halloween banner I made with Graphic 45 Steampunk Spells.  So if you missed it check out yesterdays post.  Today I would like to share the mini book I created for a class next month at Scrapbook Blessings in Newbury Park, California.  The Steampunk lady on the top of the box pops up or lays flat.  Inside the box is an accordian book that folds out.  There are tons of picture spots for all your goblin and ghoul pictures.
The top is an easel card so it can pop up or lay flat.

Graphic 45 July and August class with A Place in Time

Saturday I taught the Graphic 45 A Place in Time Class at the LSS.  There are 12 ladies taking these classes every other month.  However due to vacations, illness and other issues we had only 4 ladies attend on Saturday.  Had a great time with these four ladies and they all completed their July and August layouts.
This is the July layout from the Graphic 45 designers.
I cut the star from A Child's Year Cricut  Cart.

This is the page I designed to go with it from the left over cutouts.

This is the Graphic 45 designers page for August.
I cut the flowers from Flower Shoppe Cricut Cartridge.

This is the page I designed to go with it from the leftover cutouts.

Timeless Album Bo Bunny and Prima

It's time to honor Dear O'l Dad this week at My Paper Crafting.  This mini book is one I recently designed for a class at the scrapbook store where I teach.  The book was designed for dads, grand pas and other special guys in your life.  The basic book is an older book from Bo Bunny and I used the Engraver Prima paper for the rest of the album.  I made several cuts for this project using the Cricut carts- Sentimentals, Graphically Speaking,
Here is the cover.  We made rosettes with the Tim Holtz Rosette maker, bottle caps, and buttons.
Swirls made from Sentimentals and the Time cut from Graphically Speaking
Cogs and wheels also cut out with the Cricut and some added Recollections Washi tape.

A mini book cut out from Sentimentals.  The cut out was used on another page.
Burlap for texture and a pocket for additional pictures
Another mini for more photos and a piece of Tim Holtz filmstrip.
More tags and vintage graphics
Corrugated cardboard cover for an accordian book.
Embossed Kraft paper and then inked with Distress Ink.

I hope you have enjoyed my project and that you are inspired to join us for the challenge this week.
Let's all celebrate our dads and then link up to My Paper Crafting.
Happy Craftin.

Double layout Class I am teaching with June Graphic 45 A Place in Time

Yesterday I shared the May Graphic 45 A Place in Time layout I was teaching at Scrapbook Blessings in Newbury Park, California.  This is the next design which is the June layout.
Again the first page is designed by Graphic 45 and sent out to instructors.

Then for the second page I take the leftovers of the cut apart sheets and Bazzil cardstock and designed a second page.

Closeup the banner is made with a MS punch.  The ladies in my class love banners so for the second page each month I create some kind of banner.  We are really having fun with this.

May Graphic 45 A Place in Time Layout Class today

I am so excited today I get to teach the next class in in my Graphic 45 A Place in Time Layout Series at Scrapbook Blessings in Newbury Park, California.  I have 12 lovely ladies signed up for these classes for the entire year so we are having a lot of fun and really getting to know each other.

The first page is the design provided by Graphic 45 and sent out to the teachers.  It is a promotion/contest they are doing this year.  Our page follows that design except for the butterflies.  Instead of the Graphic 45 metal butterflies I used Sizzix chipboard butterflies painted with Silks.  I used Accent Essentials and Lacey Labels for the circle and scalloped circle.

Then I  design a second page for the ladies.   I love working with this paper.

Tomorrow I will share the June layout with A Place in Time.
Hope you enjoyed this layout.
