My Paper Crafting Totally Tags n' ATC's Cinco de Mayo Challenge

It's time for the Tags n' ATC's challenge at My Paper Crafting.  This week we made tags with the Cinco de Mayo theme.  I used Create a Critter 2 for my cute little cactus with his sombrero.  The bright striped paper and ribbon were from my stash and the cute embellishments were from a dimensional sticker page I had.  I used a cute little Peachy Keen face stamp and embossed the cactus and Ole!

24 Carrot Eggstravaganza Blog Hop

Welcome to cricutcraftingrammy and MyPaperCrafting.com’s 24 Carrot EGG-stravaganza Blog Hop!  With Easter just around the corner we wanted to share some of our ideas and give you some inspiration for your Easter projects!
If you've come from visiting from  my dear friend Brenda's blog friends craftin with friends , you're in the right place! If you've just happened across my blog and would like to hop along with us, you can go to MyPaperCrafting.com and start at the beginning.

For my project I made a wreath for the Scrapbook Store where I teach classes.  The wreath was a straw one that I scored at Walmart after Halloween for $1.  I wrapped it with this cool yarn I found at Michaels that reminded me of grass.  With my coupon I think I paid about $3 for the yarn.  Paper and flowers from my stash.
Teddy Bear Bunny was cut from Teddy Bear Parade Cartridge
Bird, butterfly and chicken in egg are from Create a Critter 2
Spring has Sprung from April Showers.
The eggs in the center of the flowers were cut from this years Reminisce Easter paper.
Here is the wreath before I added the cuts.
Once again Melin is being generous and has provided an adorable digi for each blog designer to give away. I ask that you be a follower of my blog and leave a comment about my project to have a chance to win this adorable digital file.
Winners will be drawn on Monday and announced on Tuesday.
I will also draw a second winner using Random.org for a goody bag that I will mail.

Now it’s time to hop on down the bunny trail . . . to  Sheena's blog lilflowerslynne1

Be sure to visit each blog for a chance at winning some Easter-y blog candy!

My Paper Crafting and the I Feel the Love Project

Today it is time for My Paper Crafting to sponsor the I Feel the Love Project. This is a project I am sure you will want to participate in since the we all know about the
loss of life at Sandy Hook Elementary School.
Here is the info about the project from our very own design team member Madison.

In loving memory, the I feel the Love Project would like to pay tribute to Victoria Leigh Soto (Vicki), a first grade teacher at Sandy Hook Elementary. She lost her life on 12.14.12, but six or seven (still to be confirmed) students in her classroom survived that day because of her selfless actions. It is those students that we will be making cards for this month. They are not to be forgotten. They too have suffered a tremendous loss and have experienced a tragedy that will forever change their lives. We will be making Valentine's Day cards/cards with hearts on them for these wonderful kids. All projects should be colorful and uplifting. These children are all first grade students.

In addition, we will be collecting cards for Ms. Soto's family. These can be pretty blank cards, thinking of you cards, or any appropriate, uplifting cards that one would send to a family member after a loss. Please be sure to sign your cards. Ms. Soto's family members include her mother and father, Mr. and Mrs. Soto (Carlos and Donna); her sisters, Jillian and Carlee; and her brother, Carlos Matthew. Among Ms. Soto's favorite things are the color green and flamingos.

If you would like to be a part of this project...

All you need to do is:

Submit your card/s by January 31st to:

Atascadero, CA 93423

Here are the cards I made to send for the IFTL Project.  The first three cards are from the Create a Critter 2 cartridge .
Each animal was cut at 4.5 inches and the words are also from the cart.
The owl is from page 37
The lion from page 36
The frog from page 34
I also made 5 more vintage valentines with some pictures I got in a kit last year.  I added ribbon and MS punch valentine cuts to them.
I hope you will join us for the IFTL and link up to My Paper Crafting and  I Feel the Love Project.
