8/6 BBTB2 Fly Away Hot Air Balloon challenge

Hello everyone!  It's time for another double Design team post today for me.
First posting at 3 a.m. PST is my FCCB DT post
and then at 8 a.m. PST is my BBTB2 Post.
I hope you will take the time to check out both post and  discover  what all the other DT members created this week too.

This week at BBTB2  the challenge from our DT sister Jeri is Fly Away- Use a Hot Air Balloon cut or an airplane if you don't have one.
Here is my card I made.
Recipe
Everyday Pop Up balloon cut at 4.5 inches from scraps in three layers
Added twine, gel pen, $1 Michaels stamp
SU embossing folder for basket
I used an MS Punch and left it blank to add sentiment later.
I like to have cards I can use for any occasion in my stash.

I hope you will join us this week for the challenge Fly Away. Remember you have two weeks to complete this challenge and link up your projects to BBTB2.  Remember you also have one week to complete and link your On the Farm projects too.  Happy Craftin!

6/23 CWC Blog Hop Alligator

Welcome to the CookingWithCricut.com and PaperCraftingWorld.com Designers June Blog Hop. Get ready for two days of great projects with each day showcasing different designers and projects. If you have come from Larelyn at Handmade from the Heart, then you are moving along. If you would like to start from the beginning, please head over to CookingWithCricut.com

This month our hop theme is all about Birthdays and one special one in mind. Our wonderful DT Coordinator Jen Hudson’s birthday just happened to fall on Saturday so we decided to make birthday inspired projects with a “Jen” theme in mind. Our go to gal is a die-hard Florida Gator Fan. So we decided to use elements on our projects that reflected Our GATOR FOR LIFE Gal’s FANCY;  Florida, The Florida Gators and anything that would make you think of the Sunshine State. Jen is the last on our blog line up so be sure to hop through and leave her some extra special love at the end!

So a big warm gator birthday wish Jen. Hope you have an awesome birthday
and thanks for all you do for Cooking with Cricut.
Gator (and people) hugs too.
I used this cute little alligator from Twinkle Toes cut at 5 inches and embossed.
The banner was cut from Everyday Pop Up at 3 inches long.
I added twine and used a tiny letter set I got at Michaels for $1 last year for the wish.
Used a MS punch and lace for the tutu.  A googly eye and gems on the bow.
Ribbon from my stash.
The inside was printed on the computer and I used the same MS punch.

Be sure to head over to CWC and leave a comment for a chance to win some great blog candy! Now on to your next stop Jen at Java Jen Creations.

Also don't forget the CWC challenge this week First Day of Summer= create s project with a BBQ or Picnic theme.
