BBTB2 Challenge Birthday and Pearls

This week at Bitten by the Bug 2   our Design Team sister Stephanie is asking us to all create a birthday card with pearls.  You can never have too many birthday cards in your stash so this is a great challenge.
My card base is 5 x 10 rectangle with  rounded corners.
For the inside I used the inside of the cut out frame.
Recipe:
Pansy cut a 3 inches from Art Nouveau
Frame page 28 Paper Trimmings cut at 5 inches
Stamp $1 section Michaels last year
Pearls
Seam binding ribbon
Smooch ink in green and purple
We hope you will join us for this two week challenge and link up your birthday/pearl creations to BBTB2
Also don't forget you have one more week for the Rose Challenge.
I can't wait to see your wonderful creations and Happy Craftin!

Another Challenge Layout

So many challenges going on with the usual blog challenge and National Scrapbooking Day.
Luckily the Cricut Circle challenges for NSD are due 5/11 as I was not able to scrap much this last
weekend.  Here is another layout I did with several challenges in mind.
For this layout I used the Creative Scrappers Sketch #207
I am also entering this in the Cricut Circle Scraps Challenge - Make a Spring Layout and use the Cuttlebug.
Also entering in the Paper Lovin Gals  Flower Power challenge

Recipe:
I used Paper Trimmngs  for the flowers and the flower border page 41.
The flowers were cut at 2 inches and the border 1.07 x 11.90.
The leaves are a MS punch
Spring is from Stretch your Imagination  and was cut at 1.75 inches.
I really like the way the flowers, buttons and scraps went with Kenzie's sweet Easter dress.

FCCB Challenge Rolling in Ribbon- Gingerbread man layout

Hello everyone- so glad you found the time to join us this week for the Fantabulous Cricut Challenge.  I know right now we are all so busy with Christmas less than 2 weeks away.  So sit down relax and check out this weeks challenge - Rolling in Ribbon
The challenge is to use ribbon somewhere on your project along with your Cricut cut.
Today I would like to share with you how to glitz up some already cute paper for a layout.
The paper I used for this project is the
Recollections Sugar Plums Paper Stack from Michaels this year,
I thought this page was so cute but I wanted to do more with it.

Here is the finished product.
I used the gingerbread paper from the same stack.  I added red glitter rick rack from Michaels,
I also added gingerbread ribbon which I cut at different lengths.
I added snowflakes and Stickles

To the corner I cut the Gingerbread corner from the new Cricut cart Paper Trimmings at 5 inches.  I added a bow sticker and PK stamps for faces, used white gel on the eyes and the frosting trim and  white snowflake confetti.  I then added  some little balls on tinsil (Michels)  to make it look like they are decorating.
I hope this has inspired you to join us this week for the  for the FCCB ribbon challenge.
We would love to see what you make.
