Memories in Time Mothers Day blog hop

Welcome to the Memories in Tyme blog hops - where you will find some seriously talented people who love to share their ideas with you! Our hop today and is anything relating to Mothers Day- doesn’t matter if it is a layout, card, mini album, or decorating item, if it’s about mom…it’ll be here!!! We all have one, and some of us even have 2 - or mom’s we wish we ours, or our friends’ mom’s who turn into ours… I have been lucky to have the amount of amazing women in my life, all who have taught me one thing or another about being a mom! Let’s celebrate MOM’s here!!!
Now, if you just happened upon my blog, then please go back to the beginning which is at Lynda’s blog (http://memoriesintyme.blogspot.com/). Besides, the beginning is always the best anyway!!!
Let’s get started with the ideas. For my post I made two layouts one for each daughter for Mother's Day 2012.
The first is for my oldest daughter who has one daughter and expecting her 2nd child in October.
The second page is for my youngest daughter who has two daughters.
Recipe:
A Child's Year page 64 and 74 cut at 4 inches
Happy Mother's Day page 71 Happy Mother's Day cut at 3.5 inches
Banner cut 2 inches from Birthday Bash page 58 and letters cut at 1.25 inches
I also used a MS punch, twine, ribbon and chalk to ink edges.

For my blog candy I am participating in two Memories in Tyme blog hops this month
Mother's Day 5/5 and Mini album 5/15. I will draw one random winner from those that leave a comment on those two hops. If you comment on both you will double your chances. The winner will receive a $10 Michael's gift card and will be drawn after the second blog hop.

Blog candy from Memories in Tyme…One lucky winner for May will receive a goodie pack for scrapbooking - in order to get in on the drawing, make sure to

Sea you whale soon cards

These two cards are made using the whale from Create a Critter cut at 3 inches and the wave from Cake Basics cut at 1 x 5 ".  I also added some of the punched out part of wave under whale to make more dimension.  I used a little Smooch ink, gems and googly eyes.  These cards will be sent to Cards for Soldiers.
Entered in  Tacky Tuesday Challenge on facebook- use a play on word and a sea creature.
Also I designed this on Gypsy following the Doubles Challenge at She's A Sassy Lady.
