Day 15 of 25- My Paper Crafting Rudy N Friends

Today the Christmas challenge at My Paper Crafting is Rudy N Friends.
For my layout I made two of the adorable little teddy bears from the Cricut cartridge Teddy Bear Parade.  They are cut at 5 inches.  I added Stickles, pearl accents, Glossy Accents, twine and teeny buttons.  The ribbon is from Michaels.  The trees are cut from Christmas Village and the title Merry and Bright came from Winter Frolic.  Another fun layout ready for pics of my grandchildren this year.
Melin is offering some great free files today.  Make sure to check it out at My Paper Crafting.
I used the Vintage file to make this Christmas card.  I added Diamond Stickles to the wings and for the snow.

CWC-Christmas in July

All week we are celebrating Christmas at CWC.  Everyday this week there will be a Christmas related post. Make sure to check it out to get your Christmas Crafty Mojo on early.
Today at Cooking with Cricut the challenge is Christmas in July- use a scrap of some kind.  I decided to not only use some scrap Christmas paper from last year but a leftover paint chip I had.  (We are doing a bathroom remodel and no I did not pick any of these greens).   I cut the tree from Winter Frolic page 48 at 4. 5 inches.  I added a stamped sentiment and some ribbon from Michaels last year.
So I got two cards out of one cut on a paint swatch.  Cute don't you think?
Then I took the cut out tree and made another card with scraps of ribbon and paper from last year.
I hope you will enjoy us for the challenge this week.  You have one week to link up your projects at CWC. Don't forget to come back each day this week to see what Melin and DT has in store for you.
Happy craftin!

Winter Frolic Ornament for Cricut Circle Challenge

Cricut Circle Weekly Challenge- Make an ornament with 2 Cricut cuts. I used an ornament cut from Winter Frolic cut at 4 inches.  I cut slits and fitted 3 of these together.  I added Cricut cut numbers 2010 for last year (sorry I don't remember which cart) and pictures of two oldest granddaughters since this was their first Christmas. T his year I will make a 2011 one for youngest daughter.   Also cut out with Cricut words 1st Christmas.  Added package, star and joy buttons to decorate.  This was all made of scraps.

Winter Frolic Vintage Tags

Lots of blogs are having challenges this week to make tags.  I am not a big tag maker but I decided to give it a go since I was inspired by the Design Team Members and other bloggers.  This tag is cut from Winter Frolic at 4 inches out of  craft paper.  I embossed it and used Tim Holtz green ink to ink the edges and the embossing.
These are the front of my tags.
The first I made three 2.75 inch spiral roses from Art Philosophy.  Two are wound tight and one loose.
I then added branch punch cutouts,  died seam binding, and one Happy Holidays embellishment.  The second is the bird and cage cut from Winter Frolic.  I added three little tiny pearls for berries.
The first one you sign on the back.  The second one is two pieces and you slide it open to write inside.
This is the back of my tags.  I used branches and tiny pearls for first one.  Second one I used MS holly punch and Holiday Hugs cut from Winter Frolic with tiny pearls for berries.

Sweet Memories Gingerbread layout

Wow today was such an exciting day for me.   I reached 400 followers on my blog today plus my rosette wreath/centerpiece was highlighted in the Cricut Chirp today.  So excited.
Every since I saw the sketch for the Blog Quick Quotes challenge I knew exactly which paper I wanted to use.  This is Reminisce Sweets and Treats paper I got at my local LSS.  I love gingerbread men and I love the bright colors of this double sided paper.  So here is the page I made using the sketch  below.
Here is the sketch
I then added a second page for my double page layout.
Ribbon from Michaels.  Title cut from Winter Frolic.
I added gel pen stitching and twine to the title.
Little gingerbread people were gift toppers I had in my stash.
Closeup of brads.  I used spoon and cookie sheet from kitchen set and gingerbread man.
I also cut one extra mat in case I wanted to add another picture on the bottom left.
I can't wait to add Christmas pictures of granddaughters this year.
