A new challenge and DT Call at Let's Scrap

Wow so hard to believe it is already the middle of July.  Not only does that mean the Summer is going fast but that it's time for another sketch challenge at Let's Scrap.  

This is the layout I created using the sketch and old Bo Bunny chipboard embellishments I found.  The background paper was from Tuesday Morning and sort of a watercolor look and a perfect color match.  I also used some mint doilies I got in the dollar section at Michaels.  

Pictures are of my granddaughter Kenzie 4 1/2 and in one pic her brother Micah 2 1/2.

Let's Scrap special challenge

Let's Scrap is having a special challenge with 

 a color palette for National Scrapbooking Day.  

This is the layout I made using Bo Bunny Isabella Paper.  

The pictures are of my granddaughter Kenzie,

I also added three fabric covered buttons from Martha Stewart, gems, 

gem flourishes,  a glitter title and some flowers.

Mother's Day Card for my daughters

Frosted Designs is Showcasing Mothers in their new challenge.  I haven't been making many cards lately but I wanted to make my daughters cards  for Mother's Day.  I am really proud of them and how they take care of their kids.  

For this card I used some leftover Prima paper, Bo Bunny Chipboard and doilies.  

I fussy cut large roses from Prima paper and inked and layered everything  I also added some tidbits of lace and some cute metal butterfly embellishments   

This is the inside of the card.  I cut the Happy Mother's Day from Silhouette America and added another flower chipboard piece

Here are a few more of the Summer layouts I did for kits for Just Kitting Studio this last Summer.

Bo Bunny Summer Layouts

I know its very much Winter for a lot of you but for us in Southern  California it is still very warm.  I created a bunch of layouts for kits this Summer with Bo Bunny Summertime paper.  

The top one is I Scream You Scream 

and the second one is Summer Heat Wave.  

I love the bright bold colors and oh so cute graphics.

I will share some more layouts next week with this paper line.  

These are both available in kit form for you to put together.  

January February layout class at Busy Bees Studio

I will be teaching a layout class every other month this year at Busy Bees Studio in Newbury Park, California.  These are the layouts for January and February. 

 The class will be held Saturday, January 24th.  

The January layout is created with  Bob Bunny.

The February layouts is created with Canvas Corp.

Depending on signups for the class this may or may not

be available at Just Kitting Studio in kit format.
