Graphic 45 A Place in Time Flip Calendar class

Earlier in the week I posted picture of the large 12 x 12 Graphic 45 A Place in Time class I was teaching.  Today I am posting the 8 x 8 class pictures that was made on a Graphic 45 flip book.
Here is the cover using the word page and a punched strip and 2013.
All the tags in the front of the book are the leftovers for using throughout the year.
Here are the pages which each include the calendar and a place to write special events.

The tags can be place on an envelop on the back page.

Red and green Christmas for My Paper Crafting

Well now that Thanksgiving is officially over it's time to bring out the green and red.  This week at My Paper Crafting the challenge is to create a holiday project with red and green.
I decided to use my new Quilted Christmas cartridge and boy do I love the fancy cuts on this one.
The first page with the sleigh is from page 38 cut at 5.75 inches .

The Santa is from page 32 cut at 8 inches.  The words Ho Ho Ho comes from Something to Celebrate and is cut at 2.25 inches.  The paper is K and Company and I added some Michaels Christmas rick rack ribbon, pointsetias, tiny bells and Merry Christmas embellishment from my stash.

Please join us this week and create a holiday project using your Cricut and red and green.  Then link it up at My Paper Crafting with a ho ho ho and a merry Christmas

Advent Calendars Galore

A few weeks ago I taught a class with the Kaisercraft Advent Trees.  The students got to select which of the three Kaisercraft papers they wanted to use.
Then I found a simple advent tree box on sale at a craft store and made this one.
The same day I found this advent calendar at a Good will store for $12.  This is actually still on sale at Target this year for $30.  There were a couple sticks missing on the roof of the one we bought but we found some sticks on the ground that with a little inking matched perfectly.  We also didn't like the plaid so we used some Graphic 45 Christmas paper from last year and decorated it.

Finished calendar except for numbers which I gave my daughter on Thanksgiving to finish.

Market Fresh Mondaze at My Paper Crafting- Teddy Bear Parade Showcase

Today it is my turn to share at Market Fresh Mondaze cartridge showcase at My Paper Crafting.  I chose to share the adorable new Cricut cart Teddy Bear Parade.  I  have always loved teddy bears and these are so darn cute.   To make these quick and easy I have cut out a small pile of 4 and 5 inch bears so I am ready to dress them for any occasion.

For the first project I created a layout using the adorable little school bear for a layout of my granddaughter's first day of preschool.  The bear is cut at 5 inches.
Here is a close up of the bear.
Here is the first bear I made making a Halloween card and some googly eyes.
Before we know it Valentines will be here.  I decorated this cute bag with a heart from Doodlecharms and the cute little cupid bear.  The fancy hearts are a MS punch.
Don't have the pics yet but we celebrated Kenzie's 2nd birthday a few weeks ago so I made another layout using the adorable birthday bear.
And here is the adorable Santa bear.
I also created a turkey bear for a layout and a Thanksgiving card.

Hope you enjoyed the Teddy Bear Cricut cartridge showcase.  It's a fun fun cart and I am sure I will be using it a lot.

Graphic 45 A Place in Time Calendar Part 1

It's Saturday so time for me to share another class I am teaching at this weekend at Scrapbook Blessings in Newbury Park, California.  Today the students are making either a 12 x 12 calendar that they can hang on the wall or a 8 x 8 flip book calendar that they can use as a one year calendar or a Special Occasion organization calendar for years to come.
Here is the 12 x 12 cover.
Here is the January 12 x 12 using the Graphic 45 Place in Time paper and a punch
You can see the additional page to use for writing important dates.  In the postcard pocket there are 5 tags for each month which can be used for special occasions.
This is the 8 x 8 flip calendar with the small calendar and the card for Special Occasions dates.
Now that you have the idea
here are the 12 x 12 pages for February through  June

Tomorrow I will share the rest of the pages.  Hope you enjoyed  the post.
