Car decals Heart beat of Disney Addict and Advocare

The window decal on the left is for the group Mouse For Life that my daughter and her family belong too.  She had to put it on her side window so I made her a heartbeat of a Disney addict for the other side of her car.

I also recently made this window decal for the back of my son in laws truck for Advocare that he sells on the side.  He was really happy with it.

Priceless Snow White layout

These cuts are all from PPBN Designs except for the mirror.  Some i cut and some were from an exchange I did.
I figured Priceless was a pretty good title as my granddaughter and grandson love getting their pictures taken with the princesses.  Here they are with Snow White, Belle, Merida and Cinderella.
The Priceless title is from Silhouette America.

Lasting Memories Mystic Mountain

The new monthly theme "Travel" starts at Lasting Memories this week with Mystic Mountain.
For this challenge you can use a picture of mountains, mountains on your page
or a challenge that is faced.

For my double page layout I found these pictures of my youngest daughter and her family out for a hike.  I cut out the trees and titles from Silhouette America.  The mountain and green chevron paper I had in my stash.  I then cut out the words (cherish, family, remember, adventure, discover, etc.) from another piece of paper and glued them to the tree.

I hope you will join us at Lasting Memories this week for the challenge.  Remember it can be anything that somehow has to do with mountains.  We would love to see your creations.

The paper is Kaisercraft Hello Today Collection on a piece of tan Bazzil.

Growing Like A Weed layout

For this layout of my oldest granddaughter Katie I used paper from an old stack and cut the title, flowers and grass with files from Silhouette America.  I added some cute little buttons and embellies in center of the flowers.  The ladybug is in honor of Katie's nickname Katiebug.
Here is the single page sketch I used from
I am also entering this in the
Die cut challenge In the Garden
I cut out the flowers and grass with my Silhouette as well as the title.

Hello Life layout with Simple Stories

The minute  I saw this fun sketch  at      Lets Get Sketchy Week 4
I grabbed a small 6 x 6 paper pad I had of Simple Stories.   I was going to use a square punch but ended up hand cutting the pieces to best utilize the papers.  I added washi tape and Tim Holtz filmstrip piece across the bottom.  I love the way it came out.  A fun page for my granddaughter's cute picture of her holding a chicken.  I inked the edges with brown ink and then glued them to a black piece of Bazzil so they would pop.  This was a lot of fun to do and I like the way it came out
Much better than having the pad sit on the shelf collecting dust.

Here is the sketch fro Lets Get Sketchy Week 4
The sketch designer is Laura Whitaker.

Also entering in Shopping Our Stash
This week's theme is Neon Rainbow, and we'd like you to use neon -OR- a rainbow -OR- use rainbow colors. Feel free to combine the options, too!
I definitely think there is a rainbow of colors on this layout.

Sweet dreams baby boy layout

For this cute page of my grandson I used K and Comany paper and embellishments from several years ago.  The papers are soft muted colors.  So fun to work with these sweet baby pictures of my grandson when he was tiny.  He is now a running, climbing, wild two year old but still very sweet.

Here is the sketch I used from Let's Get Sketchy

I just found a new challenge while linking up a project to Rochelle Spears.
I decided to try out this great March Color Challenge

creatingwithpaperandmore
The colors were very close to this pallet.

The Happy Life layout

I am entering the Let's Capture Our Memories Sketch 116 with this single page using the sketch below and items from my craft room.
The pictures is of Kenzie 4 and her brother 2 swinging at the park.
I decided to use the black background with the pink paper and othe chalky look papers I had for pocket pages.  I used stickers for the journaling and date.
The large black flower is from Recollections and the little bird is from the $1 section at Michaels.

Here is the great sketch
Thanks for checking out my page and these cute sketch.

Lucky Charms layout done two ways

Going through sketches from various blogs I found some great ones to use
for my grandkids St. Patricks Day pictures.  I am finally using my Picturemate Photo Printer to make these smaller size pics for the first layout.
This page is for me and has all 4 grandkids on it.
I only had a few pages of St. Patrick's paper so started with that.
The 4 leaf clover and title Lucky Charms came from Silhouette America.
The little buttons are ones I bought for the kids to wear and then I added them to the page.
The green and copper flowers are from my stash.

This is the original sketch for the challenge at  Let's Capture Our Memories
created by Laura Whittaker.  Sketch 115
I turned the sketch sideways for the photos I wanted to use.

Check out the challenge here Let's Capture Our Memories
Sketch 115

I am also entering this on Rochelle Spears  Blog.
She is having a March Tic Tac Toe Challenge
I used the middle row going down-  Polka dot paper, Color Green and Something that sparkles.
The polka dot paper is under the music staff.
There is sparkly glitter on the journal piece, the music staff and the  other small pieces of paper.

I also did a page for my daughter with a two photo sketch from
Rochelle Spears at Sketches in Thyme
I used the same title and shamrocks from the first page  but added
the little Leprechaun from Silhouette America.
I added ribbon across the bottom and some gems

This is the original sketch
And I turned it sideways too.

Layouts and challenges OH MY!

What better way to get some pages done and spark your creativity than to find some great great challenges.
The first challenge  I used for these layouts was
Picture This 2 Photos + dark background + butterfly
Well for two pictures I found this sketch from Sketch N Scrap  Sketch 76,
I found these two adorable pictures of my granddaughter Brittany who is 3.
I choose a brought flower paper which had some black in it to match to pop against the black background.  The pink and blue punched pieces were done using Martha Stewart Punches.  I used the cutoff edge of tiny flowers down on the bottom of the page.  Added a bright pink doily, some inked chipboard butterflies and fussy cut flowers from the paper.  These are pop dotted in two layers to give dimension  The title smile is in black from Silhouette America and I then offset it in white.  The last little added touch is a pink butterfly paper clip.

This sketch is by Lisa Hidy for Sketch N Scrap  Sketch 76

For the second page since I like double pages most of the time I found a three picture sketch at
I liked the polka dot border of the sketch so I found some white with black polka dot paper and then mounted a piece of Black Bazzil to it.  Next I used the backside of the flower paper I used in the first layout.  Cutting on the border lines to make the top edge and the flowers where the arrows are.  I then found some cute journaling cards and word stickers for the thoughts card and the title.  The flowers are again fussy cut from the paper and some are pop dotted for dimension
Here is the lovely sketch from Page Maps at Let's Capture Our Memories- Sketch 113

So now I have an adorable two page matching layout using two different sketches
and some fun paper.
Thanks for looking and would love to hear your comments.

Lasting Memories Friendship Anything Goes

Today it's time for our last challenge for March using the "Friendship" Theme and this week Anything Goes at Lasting Memories.   You can do anything as long as it has to do with friendship.  For my layout I used pictures of my granddaughter Kenzie and entitled the layout Kiss me Goodbye.
The pictures share the story of Kenzie a few weeks ago when she was all upset that her mom was selling her carrier.  My daughter was able to capture these pictures of her crying, kissing her carrier goodbye, having her last ride and finally being ok with it.  The final picture to the right is her with mommy when she was a baby.  At the end of the journaling I wrote Goodbye Ol Friend.
The title is from Silhouette America and the paper is from DCWV.
For the layout I used this great sketch from
I am entering it in the double layout challenge and here is the sketch.  I love sketches with multiple pictures as I have so many pictures to scrap!
Remember you have until the end of the month to link up your layouts for the entire month at Lasting Memories.  I hope you will join us and have some scrapping fun.

Miracle and Wonder layout

I created this layout for a challenge using a sketch from Leah at  Stuck on you Sketches .  I love sketches that use more than one picture.  These pics are of my grandson Micah.
In place of the heart I used a baby onesie I found at Silhouette America.  I actually cut the piece in 1/2 so that the top and bottom would show more.
All the papers I used were from a baby boy stack.  It made it easy to coordinate the colors. I used the polka dot red paper to bring out the reds of the fire hat and Thing 2 hat.
The title Miracle & Wonder also came from Silhouette America.  I offset the cut two times to bring out the colors in the onesie shirt and make the title pop.  I then made white stitching on  the title also.  The baby bracelet, diaper pins and hand brads were in my stash.
You can check out this challenge at Stuck on you Sketches.

Tree Memories layout

Here is a one page layout I did for a challenge at Sketch N Scrap today  I have had the tree paper for awhile and had cut the tag off so not sure what company.  The brown for the middle layer and the photo mats is from a textured DCWV stack that had a wood luck.  I used a corner chomper to angle the photos and mats.   I inked all the edges and then cut out tags from a sheet and inked and added brads to them.  I used a chevron punch  for cut outs and used the colors of the trees. Everything is inked with Quick Quotes brown ink  The last thing I did was add my grandkids initials on the round tag like you would see carved into a tree.
I really enjoyed this sketch.  I  liked the simplicity and the way it highlighted the pictures.
Didn't have to do die cutting machines.  Just let the pictures and the paper do their thing.

Pretty in Pink layout

Today I did a little scrapping after being gone over the weekend and coming home with back spasms.  I have been in a lot of pain so starting out slow.  I did this page for several challenges which are included below.  The paper is DCWV that I have had for a long time.  The butterfly is from Pebbles,  Washi tape from Michaels recollections and the glitter title from Silhouette America.
The background paper was lined with some glitter flourishes on edges.  I used a flourish stencil and sprayed with pink Glimmer Mist as well as droplets.
The colors are really soft so hard to get a good picture.
The pictures are of my granddaughter Kenzie in her pink sunglasses,
her pink outfit and her pink room.
You can create anything you want and use pink color , as the main color of your project or the word "pink" in your title!!!!

Sketch Challenge
#193 I made this- make your own background (not just a stamp)
#177 Create your own background

Lasting Memories Best Friends Challenge

I am loving the Friends challenges this month at Lasting Memories.  This week the challenge is "Best of Friends."   I found this adorable Sisters and Best Friends title on Silhouette America and knew it was perfect for this challenge.  These are my granddaughters Katie and Brittany who are best buddies.  You may have seen my pictures of them last week too holding hands.  Katie who just turned five loves to draw pictures of  the two of them.  I took a picture of this drawing to keep and it was perfect to add to my page.
The paper, stickers and button I used is from Close to my Heart.

Here is my page for today and one I completed earlier this week together for a double layout.
Please join us for the Friendship challenges this month.  You have till the end of the month to complete all of the challenges at Lasting Memories.

Let's Scrap Sketches March 15th Challenge-Spring

Today is the second sketch challenge for the month of March at Let's Scrap Sketches,
I used Doodlebug paper from last Spring for these pages.  I only had one picture of the grandkids flying a kite so I added some other Spring pictures of them dying eggs, crafting and fishing with dad.  I love that this sketch has room for lots of pictures.  The striped border was punched with a Martha Stewart punch.  The clouds, kites, circle and Spring title are from the Silhouette America store.
I embossed the clouds with a Tim Holtz swirly folder and pop dotted the kites,  The tails of the kite is thread covered wire that you get by the embroidery thread.  I wrap it around a pencil to curve it and then added the bows with tiny glue dots.

I hope you will join us for the challenge and remember you still have time to also do the March 1st sketch. There is also a dual challenge with  Let's Scrap Special Challenge- Sketch
and Feeling Sketchyr for International Scrapbooking Day! We would love for you to share your creations with us at Let's Scrap. for all of these challenges.  Happy craftin!

Decided to post some Disney layouts I did of our last trip since we are returning to Disney for the weekend.  In fact I am going with daughter, son in law and 2 of my grandkids to celebrate my birthday.
I just realized that the picture on the bottom is not a double layout but both layouts I did one for me and one for daughter.  LOL
