Digi Dessert Fridaze

This is my last post for the Digital Dessert Fridaze here at My Paper Crafting. I have really enjoyed creating with this group of talented ladies. It has been a great experience for me as it has given me the opportunity to create with Melin's amazing digitals.
I created this layout using the Paper Crafting World file QT Pattotie boy with Sparkler.  The boy is colored with Copic Markers and I used Stickles on the sparkler.  The paper, ribbon and embellishments are from last year.  Even the rosettes were made last year with my Tim Holtz rosette maker and kept with my Patriotic goodies.  So this was quick and easy to put together.
In case you missed it this was the QT Patootie girl I made last week for the Digital Dessert Fridaze and the opposite page for my layout.

Totally Tags n' ATC's

Good morning, Suzanne of Cricut Crafting Grammy. We are back on Thursdays to explore different themes, elements, techniques or embellishments. This week "Anything Goes"   on our tags and ATC's. There is no restriction on what tools are used to create these tags or ATC's. It could be a die cut machine, punches, stamps, etc. The sky is the limit. However if the Design Team uses Digis or SVG's they will be from Paper Crafting World. As a side note, if you don't know what an ATC card is, we have a definition at the bottom of our post.

I hope you will join us each Thursday here at My Paper Crafting for
Totally Tags n' ATC's.

I used a  Prima doll stamp and scraps  for my tag.  I have just fallen in love with these stamps and am looking forward to the next release.  I use scraps for the dresses and background.  Flowers and ribbon from my stash.  Also added pearls and a MS punch.

Be sure to come back tomorrow for another
Digi Desserts Fridaze Link Up and another FREE Digi!

MPC Anything Goes - Graphic 45 French Country Album

I made this album awhile back but have saved it to share today for the Anything Goes Challenge at My Paper Crafting.  This is actually the last challenge I am doing for Melin as part of the CWC Design Team.  With my full time babysitting of two of my grandchildren Monday through Friday and teaching at a Scrapbook store I have decided I need to take a break from Design Teams for awhile.  I absolutely adore Melin and the wonderful ladies at My Paper Crafting.  They are so talented and fun to create with.  I have really come close to some of these ladies and  will really miss being on the team with them.

So for my Anything Goes project I made an album using the  Graphic 45 French Country thematic paper.  For the Cricut cut part of my project I made the flowers on the cover using Flower Shoppe.  I love the muted blues, sunflowers and vintage feel of this paper.  I hope you enjoy the album.

Thanks for all the love from the My Paper Crafting followers and DT members.  I will be sharing my last tag post tomorrow and my last digital post on Friday.  Happy Craftin!

Banners, flags, flowers and Scraps layout and cards

This is a double page layout and four cards I made using this precious Adorn It paper.  The class title is Banners, Flags, flowers and scraps.   During the class I am going to share a variety of ways to use scraps on layouts and cards including banners, flags, flowers and by using punches. Also on the layout are flowers made of ribbon and sewing patterns  which are fun and easy.

Here is a closeup of the flowers.  We are making circular flowers, rolled roses, sewing pattern flowers and ribbon flowers.
Here are the cards I made using some of the scraps, punches and more flowers.

Baby Micah layouts from last crop

Since I am spending the weekend scrapbooking at my LSS I figured I better post the layouts I did from the last crop.  Last month the focus was working on my grandsons album the newest member of our family.  You may notice that some of the pictures are the same.  That is because some are for my oldest daughters album and some are for me.  I usually do the same layouts but this tiime I did them all a little different.  Most of the paper is from the newest DCWV boys stack or the Mambi boy stack.

Camping layouts of grandkids

My youngest daughter and her family recently went on their first camping trip.  Katie 3 and Brittany soon to be 2 had a great time.  The first two pages are a double page layout for my daughters scrapbook.  The third page is a couple of the pictures I wanted for my album.

Digi Dessert Fridaze-From card to layout.

This is my project for the Digi Dessert Fridaze at My Paper Crafting.  I thought this QT Patootie girl was adorable for 4th of July.  I colored her with my Copic Markers and added some Stickles for the sparkle.  The rosette was made with the Tim Holtz Rosette folder.  After I made this little card I decided I wanted to use it on a layout.  So i pulled the card apart and put it on the layout below.  Next week I will share the opposite page.  Hope you like it.

MPC IFTL Project for June

It's time for the IFTL project here at My Paper Crafting.
I made my card using a Darice embossing folder one of my design team sisters Xochitil sent me.  She was so sweet to get it for me when I fell in love with it.
The balloon is from Create a Critter and I also embossed it and then added Magic Thread for the string.  The balloon is pop dotted

Here is the story of dear little Mason and his family.

I FEEL THE LOVE PROJECT -

This month the  I Feel the Love Project highlighting a very special little angel, Baby Mason.  Baby Mason received his wings when he was just six months old.  Unfortunately, he was killed when the car he was riding in was struck by a drunk driver.  His family is devastated as you can well imagine.  At the time that this video was taken, Baby Mason was still in the hospital fighting for his life.

As Baby Mason's uncle states in the video, the actions of one person can have life changing consequences for a family.  The driver of the other car chose to drink and drive and that decision changed the Villarreal family forever.

Although we cannot change the past, we can offer our support and love to help bring about a sense of peace, love, and compassion to this family.  Please join the I Feel the Love Project in creating handcrafted cards to send to the parents of Baby Mason to let them know that we are here to support them through this difficult time in their lives.

Submit your hand crafted card/s by June 3oth to:

Thank you all in advance.  This could never work with out you and all your continued support.  Spread the word!

Family trip to Oregon layouts

During the Spring Break my oldest daughter and family drove up to Oregon to visit her husband's family.  I finally completed these layouts for them.  As you can tell from the pics it was really cold while they were there.

Playground fun layouts

Made these fun layouts of grandaughter with her dad playing at the park.  She has no fear and has to try everything even though she is only two 1/2 years old.  Had this paper in my stash so knew it was the perfect background for these fun pics.

Here is the cover
The tab at the top left pulls up to reveal more space for photos.
The right side has a side piece that pulls out.
